Either way, Owen's said nowt like that. That's the thing. He's said NOTHING.
-
Neither of those examples are on the same level as this Owen debacle, though. Personally i think he'll stay. But not especially cos he wants to, just cos no one will pay for him.
-
So would i, but he's not awful. If you're unhappy with a striking department that includes Ameobi as like third or fourth (probably fourth) choice, then you're too hard to please - simple as that. Oh, and need to get a grip.
-
Difference there being that Given and Taylor aren't at the very peak of the rumour mill, and no one is talking about them moving to the big four.
-
Shola played about ten games last season. And was still like our fourth top scorer.
-
If... Milner -------------------------- Martins ----------------- Owen ------------------ ... we'll have struck gold. But i'm sceptical. I'm so eager to find out what Allardyce's plans are. Either way, regardless of which strikers we play, Milner should be in the team. Some people seem to be forgetting him.

The first radical, thought provoking and intelligent post in this thread. blueyes.gif Quite. Will be ace when both of them have left the club in a couple of years time, and we're right back to square one.
-
Don't think either will go, but i'd rather keep Martins.
-
Begging for this to go through now. Would be fucking gutted if it fell appart when it's got this far.

Im not panicing at all, i guess the fact that you dont really know many of the players were bein linked with is abit of a worry *in a way* in a way its quite exciting, and i have total faith in Big Sams ability to notice unknown talent. will the Joey Barton transfer be completed by tomorrow do you think?? Don't think anyone would be able to make a fair judgement tbh, mate. Who knows?
-
And yet you know it is not meant as a joke. I respect your right to have an opinion and respect your enthusiasm but it is wasting both yours and my time and energy you critisising something even you yourself admitting you know nothing of. TBH mate, i know Morph well enough to know that he wouldn't do something so repulsive as to put it up 'as a joke'.
-
You think so? Who does he play for? Is he any good? Hearts. No idea.
-
If it is not meant as a joke, then can I kindly ask what it is meant for? I don't know, ask Morph.
-
We ain't, he's just a player i reckon would be worth a punt.
-
It's not 'funny', but it's not meant as a joke. S'doing nowt wrong by having it up there as an avatar. A picture of Hitler. Oh my eyes. I actually feel as if i'm being tortured just looking at it. Like HTT said.
-
Nijtap Geremi Tal Ben Haim David Rozenhal Sol Campbell Leighton Baines Lareya Kingston Joey Barton Mark Viduka ... all set to come through the door. Divven't worry.
-
Would he get many games there? Better off putting him in League 1.
-
Maby his assistent... MaybE his assistAnt, yes. Shall I spell it out for you? Do you think he's going to try and recruit the majority of his backroom staff from Bolton then? whats fucking hitler doing at your avatar, nazi boy? Didnt anyone go to school on here thats not Hitler FFS thats the great Commie Russian leader Stalin Like anyone with a braincell could ever get the two mixed up. It was Hitler before.
-
On a side note, who the fuck actually IS the Wigan manager???
-
Not necessarily the case - Lerner bought us Petrov before his takeover had gone through, although I guess it depends how far down the line things have gone. How's he done, btw?
-
Aye, possibly. He might also have realised how he's a young lad who's a bit raw, but with big potential and could go far. Just a hunch like, nothing to confirm. --- Didn't manage to see the Wales game. But Allardyce was there, effectively confirmed - the photo on dot.com looked genuine and it would make sense. Fingers crossed, anyway! Will be nice to just get someone through the door.
-
Agreed. And what exactly are you agreeing with? The content of your post, at a guess.
-
I'm generally a bit put-out if me and YG agree on anything Yawn.

Group stages was class. Some really good games and some really good teams. Turned out to be the biggest anti-climax ever - the knockout stages were absolutely shit. And i mean, absolutely rotten. Insanely negative and loathesomely boring. Only good game i can remember from the group stages was Argentina-Mexico. Which bring me onto another point, Brazil didn't perform and the tournament's two best teams played each other in the quarter-finals (Germans-Argies), while two distinctly average performers played out the final. As for England? Hells bells. Struggling past Trinidad & Tobago and Ecuador. Ho hum.

I was just joking tbh. One of the flukiest headed goals ever. He headed it directly into the ground, about four feet infront of him.
