Palace don't play and Brighton (also on 40) have Liverpool, so we could put a canny-sized gap between us and three teams, not just Sunderland.

Baseline position is that I'd be very happy for us to qualify for the Europa League. The extent of my excitement would then be determined by whether or not Aston Villa win it this season. The achievement of winning it, from our point of view, becomes evermore undermined each time a PL team wins it. Would rather not be in the Conference League. Obviously it would never happen but I'd find it really interesting if that place was occupied by the EFL winners rather than EFL Cup winners.

Pretty sure we've done 10-11:30 plenty of times and it's always fine. Affords a wee bit of wiggle room to those coming from further afield too. If it's a three-teamer we'll have three ~25 minute matches.
