They've played some really good stuff in the last couple of months after a very shaky start. Don't let the game against us (and seeningly West Ham) cloud your judgement too much, they're a very good side.

Big part of the success so far this season has to come back to the pre-season. Howe used the entire squad so well, there wasn't a clear 'first' and 'second' team in the friendlies, it was always a mix to make sure that we had as close to two equally good teams as possible in case of injuries. It's really no surprise that our "lesser" players have been able to keep up when they've had to step in, the seeds were placed long before the season proper even started.

Didn't see much of the game today (yet), but he is such an incredible player. Can't see him not being my favourite ever CB for us, he's already up there with Woodgate (who I don't really like, due to his injuries and fucking off to Real Madrid) and Colo, and he's only just getting started.
