I can't see OM accepting a deal where his wages are not being paid. The main point of this deal is to clear his wages so we can add big player. He played quite well on Saturday btw and set up Samassa's goal very nicely. The only part of the thread title I don't like is the idea of NUFC paying a loan fee. It is like paying rent in that you gain nothing and lose all the funds that you input. I see your point, but the quality he would bring to our team would help us massively in the fight to stay up. It's well worth £800k to stay up this season.

If we want to play Ben Arfa as an AM in a 4-1-2-1-2, then yes. If we want to play him behind Carroll in a 4-2-3-1 then no. Conclusion: yes, we need one because a team needs to have different approaches to different games.

Are you taking the piss? No, he's probably the least effective player in that 11. Flatters to decieve and he has quite a few of you fooled because he runs around a lot, but so do headless chickens. Just my opinion like, but compared to some of the players we've had in that position over the years the guy is a waste of space. Who would you rather played LW? But as soon as you got a goal, we couldn't come back from that, and the best team clearly won in the end. After having been to the game last week, and watching you lot destroy us (so much better in every position), I was expecting us to lose 5-0 tonight, so strangely enough, I'm not too disappointed, as we gave you guys a game for 60 minutes tonight. shame you two couldn't have met up for one of the two games. I actually wanted to go to Trondheim, but the flights were too expensive and it's too far to go by bus IMO, especially when you're certain you'll lose.

That's my point, dickweed. Plymouth is definitely my "second team" after that game like. Very sad news for Portsmouth supporters this, wouldn't even wish it on Sunderland.
