Worked fine against Pompey, they just need a decent midfield backing them up i.e. we need Guthrie back. Aye, i reckon they work together in the way that they will scope goals. They might not form a terrific partnership as such, but they will score goals as long as the service is there. I can see up setting a point in this game, fwiw.

He used to be the darling of the media when he was younger, and always had their attention. Lately he's not talked about as much, yet it is NOW that the media should recognize his achievements and his dazzling career. I just don't feel he's mentioned in the same breath as the superstars Cantona, Shearer, Zola, Bergkamp, Keane etc.. Think he will be once he retires. Scholes had a bad game today, but he's been absolute quality in every other game I've seen him this season. Up there with the best I've seen him play, tbh. Should be automatic starter when he's fit and his legs allows. Couldn't believe Berbatov got 90 minutes tonight though, he looked sluggish and uninspired, which isn't all that unusual for him, but there were almost none of his usual great touches. Should have come off for Tevez around 60 minutes IIYAM.
