Good signing. Very capable defensive midfielder. I think he was awesome at Marseille when they played Champions League -football a couple of seasons ago. There is the experience. Sounds like an Allardycesigning.
-
Someone on a swedish forum says Marca is reporting him to be having his medical at Newcastle tomorrow. Not very reliable but would be terrific.

Diego is, along with van der Vaart, the best piece of buisness we could possibly do. Imagine a midfield with Milner-Diego-Barton-Duff, thats top four material. Very unlikely though.

4-0, remember that game so well. Bellamy, Shearer, Solano and Robert. Bolton had Jaaskelainen sent off and had to put Bo Hansen in goal when we were 1-0 up. Robert smashed a freekick past him and then delivered a superb cross for Shearer. No chance of repeating that tomorrow though, I'll go for a 3-1 win, N'Zogbia nailed on to score.

Are right backs playmakers? Dani Alves could be like Solano was for us last season (kind of a playmaker sadly enough), only better. Have you seen the poll or read the first post? Yep, only paid attention to the headline though, which seems to have been edited just a moment ago. I'll go for Kim Källström (Lyon), then.

Bolton should be a draw, will be a very physical, tight and tough game. Those games often end all square. Villa really should be 3 p in the bag, a lot of our players will have their first ever competitive outing at SJP and that'll be a big boost. Boro is a test, could well be 3 p if the players show some character. I'd like to think that Owen will be back here. We'll win it. Wigan at home is the easiest home game all season. Bramble will shit himself and I really can't see Sibierski or Heskey causing too much trouble up front.

Fourth time it's been translated in this thread.

Dragutinovic, Enrique and a playmaker and I consider us better than both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Haha, översatte just hela högre upp...lovande dock.

From a Swedish Villarreal-website: (translated) Idiocy of the century: Enrique to Newcastle Leftback José Enrique arrived from Valencia for a nominal fee last season, and he had no expectations from the supporters at all. After a couple of months he was a starter though, and he turned out to be one of the best players last season. This, altough, proved to be not good enough for Llaneza(chairman), who chose to bring in the spanish international Joan Capdevila. José Enrique was, incredibly enough, to be on the bench for the majority of the season, but now it won't be that way. Newcastle have pulled of one of the best transfers in the history of their club when they have signed Enrique. At Newcastle he will be the first-choice leftback if he can cope with the tempo. No doubt about it; I am sure Enrique will be a starter for the Spanish international team in a few years. Everything just feels so poor. Enrique was one of my personal favourite players and this U21-international is now being sold without consideration. Fuck you Llaneza, fuck you. How much we recieved for José Enrique is still unknown and it is yet to be official how long his contract will be, but that doesn't matter right now. In these kinds of situations you just want to lie down and cry.

Who's the teenage trialist on the bench? Any good reputation? -
Was 12 last season I think. Changed from 13 to 12 when Andy Griffin changed from 12 to 2 in his last season for us.
-
Very, very good. Would be a brilliant signing. Was on the verge of signing for Juventus earlier this summer.
-
Shearer of course, then Given and Speed. I still think Woodgate was a brilliant peace of buisness even though he didn't play the amount of games you'd expect..

Toon in training (UPDATED TODAY July 17th) sorry Wullie

Could be duscher if he has "gone cambiasso" in his hair, but as far as I'm concerned he hasn't. -
Derby - Newcastle 2-3 Derby went 2-0 up in the first ten minutes of the second half, but we turned it around and Lua-Lua got his first ever Premiership goal for us. I was close to tears when we won 3-1 at Highbury earlier that season. Best overall game ever watched was Sweden-Romania in the 1994 World Cup. It had everything. Especially for us Swedes!

Afonso Alves, 34 in 31 for Heerenveen, used to play in Sweden for Malmö FF - absolute genious, should be interesting to see what he can do against a couple of class-defenders and not those of ADO Den Haag...
