Good team.

That quote there fills me with apprehension. I find it staggering that a manager isn't sure whether he and his coaching staff are able to communicate to his footballers what's required after having so many French players in his team for over a year. He's clearly shitting his pants before the West Ham game as well as he's "hoping" that he'll be able to get his message across before that game. I can't think of a better argument for having a foreign manager who is multi-lingual, or at least one who has enough sense to hire coaching staff that are. Looks like we are going into tomorrow's match on a wing and a proayer. Pochettino has come into a squad not speaking a word of English and has them playing some superb stuff. Shit explanation from a shit manager.

Horrible story. Two daughters and a pregnant wife left behind. Awful news. RIP.
-
How? Because he's a terrible defender. Never seen him have a game as bad as Yanga-Mbiwa and Taylor have in our last two home games, and was a mainstay in the side we finished 5th with last season, I don't particularly rate him, I just think at the moment he could do a job. The more I see of Taylor the less I rate him. I've seen Rio Ferdinand have similar games to Taylor and Yanga-Mbiwa on Saturday, in their 1-6 loss to City for example Doesn't make him a worse defender than Williamson. In 9.98 games out of 10, Taylor, Yanga-Mbiwa and Coloccini are better than Williamson.
-
Taylor/Colo for me. Fucking Williamson is one of the reason's we're this close to relegation.
-
Two players that can save us now. Hatem and Colo. If they are on top of their game and galvanize the squad, we can pull off one or two results.
-
Sessegnon is very important to them. They'll still stay up though.
-
Indeed. Tonight has confirmed it even more.
-
There's nothing to hope for in terms of more teams getting sucked into it. We need Villa and Wigan to keep losing.
-
Graham Carr.
-
Elliot Simpson Coloccini Taylor Haïdara Ben Arfa Cabaye Sissoko Gouffran Cissé Shola Honestly. Lump it, fight for your lives. Whatever. 4-3-3 isn't working at all.
-
It will be an aerial battle. Tasty indeed. Poor Fatem.
-
Hadn't schooled Sissoko into Pardewism. Also, they outplayed us for a big part of that game.
-
I can still not believe he isn't sacked. Was weirdly relieved when I woke up on Sunday, thought there was no way back. Relegated indeed.
-
Feel the exact same way. Can't focus on anything else.
-
they went back to training at benton because pardew complained about the SJP pitch Add this to the list of excuses, quick. "We was a bit disappointed with the pitch, I think we lost focus and shape and that's not what the fans want to see, they're intelligent enough to know that. So that's something I'll try and address and maybe change for next week. 100%, for sure."

i'd like to see some counter offers to this in 2 years we bought a lot of the best talent france had to offer and he's brought us to the brink of relegation...who else has possibly come close to being this bad? Not only is he a s*** manager, he's also got no eye for a footballer. Of all the French signings, the one he was responsible for was a winger who can't cross or shoot. How f***ing stupid do you have to be to buy one of those? Boils down to how little he understands about the formation he's using. Shola at RW ffs. Has no idea about the dynamics of any other formation than the 4-4-2 hoof shit he basically prefers. What happend in April 2012 we'll never know. Neither did he at the time, by the look of things.
-
It's not that difficult. What Pardew has managed to do in terms of making life difficult for himself is about the worst I've seen from any manager at any level. Souness was shit and gradually downgraded our squad (Faye, Boumsong, Luque etc.). Roeder was shit but had to work with a squad mostly populated by mercenaries (Duff, Babayaro, Owen etc.) or talentless kids (Pattison, Ramage, Huntington, Edgar etc.) Pardew's been served some excellent talent, seen his squad been improved in both quality and depth, provided with players being able occupy several different systems. Yet he comes up with solutions that completley disregard every good player's strenghts.
-
I think he'll go for champagne football, as he labelled it last season..
-
Aye, just amazing how much crap he's brought out of our players. Not saying any of those things are unjustified.
-
Never seen people on this forum turning on all of our players at the same time. I put it down to Pardew, because these players aren't this bad. Colo for not being fit and letting us down. Cissé for missing too much and being offside. Taylor for trying to be brave. Santon for not being able to defend. Sissoko for trying to do everything on his own. Cabaye for being a shit captain and delivering shit corners. Anita for being physically insufficient. Tioté for trying to be Essien. Yanga-Mbiwa for looking nervous. Jonas for being shit.

AND THE MANAGER ISN'T SACKED. We've reached new levels here. -
This game is fucking massive as well. Just looked at all remaining fixtures, we really need to get something.

Carver in charge would make me so much less nervous. Can't even begin to understand how the fuck he's still in charge. Extraordinairy few days, these. Unprecedented lunacy, he's lost everything completley.
