The way I see it, if Pardew can take us to 5th-7th then so can someone else, and the future would be a lot brighter under someone like Martinez.

You can't do anything about it if Graham decides to just wander off to Mbiwa and stick to him, that's what I was told to do when I played upfront; go and mark the smallest centre back when we don't have the ball.

The shout of binning him and letting Carver take over to the end of the season is one I like. I think it'll do more damage to continue down this road he has us on than to take that risk.

Ridiculous decision to play him, compounded by a terrible performance. Tries hard, can't fault that, but he's quite simply not up to it in a team that has left him behind quality wise.

I think all the good will he built up from last season might have evaporated now. If we look poor in the next couple of games, I think he'll start getting some stick, and rightly so.

Was crap but not the reason we lost by any means. Do think he's regressed badly, hopefully we keep him and a new manager comes in who'll channel his aggression properly. At the moment he just has too much ground to cover and it leads him jumping into challenges and getting passed around.

The way Di Canio plays football, high fitness and high pressure, he'd be capable of getting a hell of a lot more out of our squad than Pardew.
