Pardews post match assessment that the red card was warranted very likely swayed the decision.

Hands up if you're sad enough to be F5'ing or contributing to this non-thread for the next 16 hours?

I remember Shepherd trying to convince everyone he'd actually pulled off a masterstroke getting a Man U player on loan. When in fact it was the clearest sign the Club was fucked financially.
-
haven't been convinced by him overall this season tbh, just doesn't seem terribly interested at times. He's shown what he can do...knows NUFC won't pay the fee demanded and in any case he's made his mind up that we are a club going nowhere - why would he be interested any more..? As the season wears on he'll be less and less interested as the 'not getting injured for the WC' mode kicks in.

Different player in a completely different position.

Club will be on a massive downer going into derby day. A game Pardew struggles to get a performance out of his team for - it doesn't bode well. -
I think I'd rather sit and watch Emmerdale than listen to KK whinge on and on about the big bad man who lied to him.
-
Will not get game time under Pardew. Gets the odd cameo and comes on and tries far too hard as a result - and usually messes up trying too hard to be a game changer. Has no chance of making the WC under the current French manager so is just treading water in reality.

If that contract extension was genuine then its a good deal to get shot. If there was no clause then it's a good deal t get shot. Bloke flattered to deceive from day 1. See post 1 for details.

He came for £1.6m and he's done nothing to add to his value. Just runs down blind alleys most of the time.

For next season. Anyone cancels can (iirc) see out this season. Anyone cancelling their Direct Debit? Can you pay outright for your ST rather than have it via DD? Currently on DD but would prefer to pay up front if possible.

http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20140107/statment-from-newcastle-and-sunderland_2281670_3608446 Proves 100% that NP are a bunch of fucking useless lying bastards. Pisses me off that the disorder last home derby day was watched on with apathy by these useless lazy cunts and it was left to the Chronicle readers to 'grass up' the fucking idiots rather than NP actually do what the fuck they are paid handsomely to do.

Would never have started ahead of Shola in Pardews NUFC. My old man tells of his brilliance and that he once saw him play live.

will todays match ticket be loaded onto my st? Nowt arrived in post this AM. Bought a week ago for m own seat. -
Fergie must have sat and laughed his whisky sodden red nose off the day he persuaded NUFC to buy the useless bastard. Never mind the countless titles and trophies credited to the sour faced old cunt, getting a fee for Obertan must rank with the two goal last minute come back in the CL final.

I'll just bring some ket. Sound No alcohol is ever allowed on buses travelling to football games although most normally ignore this rule and get rid of any evidence at a local service station. Is that the case again or you saying that there'll be no alcohol on the usual buses? Magpie Travel. @MagpieTravel 38m No drink will be allowed on busses to West Brom! Not my rules the police have instructed every driver of every bus! The fun police at their best again then. I'd imagine some will still allow it or just have a stop off in some little town on the way down. I was at the meeting today. We can thank the fuck nuts who wrecked the service station en-route to Man U. The copper in attendance suggested investigations where on going to identify those responsible by Manc polis and he couldn't say much more as a result. They are concerned because it appears that the coaches were not organised with plod permission and just a couple of bus loads of pissed up young uns who turned up and caused mayhem. Its these they are trying to stop travelling and they are now encouraging the coach operators to get everyone booked in with them so it can be cleared by plod at both ends. It has always been illegal to drink on route (and return from) football matches. Although plod wouldn't say it there has been a tolerance where if no one drew attention to themselves they would turn an unofficial blind eye but after Lichfield and Manc services the heat is on with both NP and the polis where we might be visiting. In a nutshell they want to know of every bus leaving Tyneside and their plans for stop-offs etc. Hopefully get the heat off and it might get easier. -
Newcastle Utd vs Arsenal - Sunday 29th December @ 1.30pm (live on Sky)

I bumped into Pards earlier tonight and he told me the team. Krul Debuchy, Colo, Mike, Santon Anita, Tiote, Cabaye Gouffran, Sissoko, Remy prob 4-5-1 -
Phil Brown has been interviewed and as the only person who'll work with a ridiculous tan is bookies favourite. Apparently.
-
Skyrtl could easily have gave away two penalties v Cardiff. A stronger / better ref would have penalised his constant shirt pulling.

You just know it'll be Shola gets the start.
