He's been in Newcastle/UK for 9 days

Two strong teams that. Hope to god Trippier doesn't flare up his injury from Tuesday.
-
Who?
-
I'll have to take your and others word for it. In terms of goals and assists he certainly didn't contribute much for an attacking midfielder, but that doesn't have to tell the whole truth of what he contributed to the team on the pitch.

Our GD is 1 goal better than the total goals scored by Norwich so far this season. It would have to be several capitulations of epic proportions for us to fall behind Norwich on goal difference. Can't see that happening based on how we've played after Howe came in.
-
Isn't it more likely that it will fuel them on in more winnable games? They've already shown they can come back from looking absolutely chanceless of staying up to putting themselves in a better position. Look at Everton today after getting spanked by us mid-week.
-
Why are people concerned about goal difference between us and Norwich? We're -20, Norwich -35
-
They can claim whatever they want thanks to little/no video footage. Maybe his play style was pleasing on the eyes, or he was very inconsistent with a very high upper ceiling? His stats suggest he wasn't all that compared to how he's described by nostalgic fans.

Think we should pursue Botman over Ake and Koulibaly. I want some exciting, promising talents that can be our future potential club legends we can still enjoy watching in 10 years from now. Ake is frankly a fucking boring option. For me, January was the month to sign him if we ever were to do so. Koulibaly is a band aid solution for the short term which would only slow down the progress of younger talents.

Is it fair to say if Everton goes down, they will be the best team on paper ever relegated from the Premier League? West Ham had some decent players in 2003, but many of them were very young at that time. We had many big names in 2008, but many of them on the decline. Everton has many big names who are in their prime at the moment.

Late to the party but I hope someone snaps Zoumas legs in half beyond fucking repair and eternal fucking pain first match he starts after this.

Empathy and care for animals is one of the most important traits in a human imo. Great stuff

Why would we need Tarkowski when we just signed Burn? Let's reserve our available squad places for someone different and hopefully better.
-
Pessimist in me says he'll prolong the injury if he plays against Villa, this is Newcastle after all, and on that basis I'd be more comfortable if he was rested.
-
Being a lower league center back his entire career it's not beyond the realms of possibility that it's been re-adjusted on more than one occasion.
-
I'd love for us to try and get Brereten Diaz and Brennan Johnson if Blackburn and Forest fails to gain promotion this season. They are young and exciting prospects, have decent pace for some sexy Bruno through balls but doesn't seem to be speed merchants in that they have ability on the ball as well.
-
We only need to match the points Burnley, Watford and Norwich accumulates for the remainder of the season to stay up. I don't think that means we need 7/8 points over the next 4 games. It would be nice of course, but I don't see either of those teams picking up that many points.
-
Really hope Trippier is fit for this in light of the 1st half performance by Coutinho today.
-
Nice, Konsa out of the game against us then?
-
He's already explained to the world that he's only been there for 5 days. Nothing to do with him this loss. Judge him after 10 games, and after 10 games judge him at the end of the season and at the end of the season judge him after his new signings has been given a 3 month period to bed into the team and after that it's probably just the fans that are fickle.
-
Isn't he playing wide left? Trippier will sort him out
-
Norwich goal came too early. Palace will equalise eventually.

The pass before Wood from Willock actually was pretty good. Everton were preparing for a cross and it caught them a bit off guard that left open space for Wood and Joelinton.
