  1. im pretty sure it wasn't 200k to the penny like It's just rounded up/down for convenience.
  2. Feels like the good old days are back. Solano on international duty, Dyer & Bellamy out with muscle injuries, something something with Speed, Cort permacrocked, at least one of O'Brien, Bramble, Woodgate, Dabizas or Elliott out with random injury.
  3. He was out with covid for 10 days in January 2021, beyond that he's not had an official injury recorded which has resulted in missing any games.....until he came here. Classic NUFC.
  4. Was a bit weird how he didn't get any games for them as he, to me at least, seemed like their stand out player when I've seen them play. Good engine, never loses the ball. Good deal for them since he's not playing. Massive wages off Evertons books.
  5. That first time shot was a beauty. Also certain I've never seen him run so fast in the PL compared to what he did in this match. Is it something about the climate that makes people run faster when it's warm? Swear I have vague memory of Geremi looking like Usain Bolt for Cameroon at the tail end of his career for us.
  6. That is just pure speculation. How could you possibly know they weren't knuckling down in training, giving their all to fight for their spot in the team? Similarly to @The College Dropout and @McCormickyou have one standard for good players you like, and another for shit players you dislike.
  7. I presume you and @The College Dropoutare big admirers of Alan Smith, Geremi, Butt, Colback and other shit players who stayed to fight for their place then?

    Mad cause Everton bad.
  9. So youth should never get a chance to prove themselves?
  10. Some years yes, some years no. I'd also want to increase the price pool to be bigger in the starting rounds so that smaller clubs get more than before, and that the ultimate price isn't monetary as such, but CL participation. It would also become a proper cup worth paying attention to.
  11. Could have easily had 4 goals in 3 games had he kept it simple against Palace and not had that offside call against Liverpool, and that's by largely feeding off scraps. I'd like us to get him on the ball more often as he is one of the few players we have that is capable of dribbling past an opponent to make some space.
  12. If a PL team wins both League & FA cup they'll play either 11 or 12 games depending on which round of the League Cup they enter.
  13. Without having looked into how many games it would end up being, then yes ideally every team from PL to the lowest league level enters the same round. If that ends up being an unreasonable amount of games over a season then I may have to retract my statement
  14. Not if all teams enter from the first round.
  15. It's just silly to have two domestic cups. League cup should be retired. All teams should enter the first round of the FA cup with no qualification rounds. More money for winning the early rounds, with a smaller price pool for winning, but rather compete for a CL spot. No replays. Go to extra time then penalty shootout.
  16. He looked pretty awful against us this season, and end of last season was that handball so could be. Can't remember the situation, but he was responsible for the one goal in their 1-0 loss to Tottenham a few weeks back too.
  17. Maybe I've caught him on bad days, but the last 3 or 4 matches I've seen him play he's been directly at fault for Burnley and Wolves dropping points doing crazy shit. Not like a small lapse of concentration like Bramble, but playing volleyball inside his own area and ninja kicking his opponents. Just seems a complete liability.
  18. "X manager doing well at a small club would be mad to go to bigger struggling club" cliche. Franks whole philosophy is based on low budgets and smart recruitment. He'd be perfect for where Leicester are now.
  19. Clearly you mean Pope Schar Botman Targett Bruno Joelinton Trippier Almiron ASM Isak Wilson
  20. Pope Trip Schar Botman Targett Anderson Bruno Joelinton Almiron ASM Isak Fulham at home will play to our strengths. We'll win 3-1. Mitro consolation goal at the end of the game, crying and waving to the away end.
  21. Aye, because a random twitter account dotted down a forward arrow on Trippier one of the few times he was so advanced compared to the ball it now makes perfect sense to slot Isak out wide. Thanks for the clarification
