Benitez loves a little team shuffle.

Manchester City vs Newcastle United - 30/03/13 @ 3pm (not on TV)

Meh..hes not really a combative midfielder though. Pulls out of challenges, haven´t showed any good tackling or aerial capabilities despite his physique. Would much rather prefer him to lurk a bit up top to try and hit Man City on the break like against Chelsea. -
Touring the US in the pre-season according to Llambias. More US radio commentary What was that guy's name again? Need to start a petition to get him to do all our games if we do go to the US Still follow him on twitter.

I feel this happens a lot to us. -
Physioroom says his expected return date is 30th of March.

Think I went a bit mental yesterday at about 75 mins in. Sat alone in the living room repeatedly singing "looking for a pass in all the tight spaces" (mel: Looking for love in all the wrong places) with an angry voice. Must have been some sort of mental rebellion towards our playing style. We made it hard for ourselves a lot of the time by not passing out of trouble. It might be that we didn´t have good enough movement to be able to pass out of trouble. Or a nice combination of both. Either way, it was very frustrating.

Hes got good instinctis, but he really is stupid sometimes. He lost the priveledge of complaining about serivce when he blasted the shot Optimistic Nut mentions over.

Didn´t see the first half, but I thought we played excellent all of the second half. Controlled the game and pressed on to try and make something happen.

Think it has to do with the fact that we haven´t seen him play as much this season.

I would pop a little turd through his letter box later on too for good measure. Also maybe grow some of them leylandii hedges and pinch his lasses knickers off the washing line (mind the last bit has nowt to do with football) Starting to wonder what Paxton (or whatever he called himself on here) actually meant with his original threat.

Only appropriate response to that:

New striker signing? Im with the people that thought he did an ok job yesterday with setting the team up. He should perhaps have put on Marveaux a bit earlier, but we did play well at the time, so I can see the reason why he didn´t. I think Cisse would have scored yesterday if he wasn´t so fucking desperate to score. Seems like he is panicking in front of goal, and just smashes the ball as soon as the opportunity allows it. Hard to say what would have happend if he had taken one of his chances better, but we would certainly have had a better chance of getting something from the match if he had.

Please...Robert hit the first man 19 out of 20 corners. It was absolutely dreadful to watch. Without having done it myself, I think it would be easy to document some of the frustrations on here much like we are experiencing now by using the search function.

It sucks that Ben Arfa isn´t even on the bench. How out of shape is it even possible to get in 3 months to not be able to play 20-30 minutes? I doubt he just sat on his ass playing PS3 while drinking cola and munching crisps each day while in France. His injury has quite clearly healed......pointless rambling about it, it´s just so disappointing. Im not blaming at anyone just to make it clear.

He also once got all us Norwegians in a hissy-fit when claiming he could do with an orange what John Carew could do with a football.

The cost of improving the overall team if Tottenham sells Bale is a lot bigger than the profit from selling Bale. First they need to replace him, and other than getting in a striker you have to go really high up in the level of quality to improve on what they already have. They should keep Bale at all costs, even if they miss out on CL - and in addition to that try and get a quality striker in the doors.
-
I think the Norwegian commentator today mentioned that he had put in 200 crosses this season, and zero assists. Now, IDK if that is true or if I misheard, but he does put in a lot of crosses each game, and you would think that at least one of those would have smashed into Cole or Carrolls face and into the net if they were of any quality. I´d still have him over Jonas ability wise as he is good at relieving pressure when he takes the ball and runs with it, much like Jonas used to. None of them would start in my preferred line up though.

Fucking shitcrackers..maybe the hype is justified?

Damnit, knew I should have searched that up before posting I guess you have a point, but a move to Olympiacos, the biggest club in Greece (at that time at least), regularly in the CL isn´t the worst for a 22 year old. Could be that he wasn´t seen as an attacking midfielder/utilised in a way that he was recognised by bigger clubs or that he simply did not develop that early.
