  1. Here you go fella, this will wipe any kind of optimism right out of you. http://img.youtube.com/vi/qoE7jGOK5ts/0.jpg
  2. Pardew is venturing into unfamiliar terretory. By this point in his managerial stints he has already left or been sacked. It's a hail mary, but I hope the stability will be good for him, and that he will turn a corner that he has never been allowed to try before.
  3. Strange. I think JFK would be very interested in a 27 year old cognac.
  4. To back up Daves´ suspicion, the article reads like he was there the whole season, and not one of the january recruits. They obviously picked the name out of a hat and went with it without consideration.

Currently knackered with an ACL injury. Stats say he was banging them in for fun prior to that. Contract runs 'til 2016. Lestienne played for Brugge against us, seemed alright. Contract runs 'til 2017. Both listed as left wingers. Looks like Robert in his playing style. Would bang.
  6. Nah, that's up to Sissoko to define for himself.
  7. Think he could have been one of the best english players around today if he had opted to start regularly at a smaller club instead of warming the bench for Chelsea and Man City.

Fair play like. Glad he's gone, we are doing a decent job of getting rid of the shite. If Williamson goes it would have been a great clear out job. Wish there were more players with that mentality. It's too bad this kind of stuff needs to be applauded due to the rarity of this happening. He was probably on quite high wages due to arriving on a free transfer, so hopefully this frees up a good chunk to be invested in a better player in a more critical position.

Boom we got your money, boom we got your credit card, boom you got our player, boom we got your money

Im torn on this. If I were the owner, and for some obscure reason Pardew were manager and unsackable, I would undermine him on this one as well. Generally I oppose to stuff like that, unless the bid received is too good to turn down.
  11. Poor kid Definitely living the dream that one. He had some La Liga offers but obviously a premier league club will pay him more. I have never been to Stoke, but going off here it must be a horrible place. Meant he can now say he's played for STOKE and BARCELONA..... plus with someone of experience of both clubs we will finally know the answer that the human race has wanted to know since the beginning of time.... Who would win !? We will all find out if Barcelona can cut it on a cold Tuesday night at stoke . I'll also add im quite pleased with this signing and its very early days as well, not waiting till deadline day is a bonus Muniesa isn't great shakes to be honest. Given our predicaments at CB the fact he couldn't get a game here should be a hint. Sat in the bench in a CL final though. Won´t matter as he is already earmarked for a fullback position.

Not in public, and as many has pointed out he seems to be a decent guy who wouldn´t do something like that. So we haven´t got a clue what the deal is basically.
  13. Feel exactly the same, him and Yanga-Mbiwa are a couple of the most exciting signings we've had for absolutely ages. It's not slagging from my end. I think he (and Mbiwa for that matter) will become a brilliant player for us as long as he is utilised correctly. It's just that some people seem to percieve him to be something he isn't due to his size. Nobody can deny that he is poor in the air, pulls out of challenges and rarely does any defensive work to make note of. He just isn't that sort of player. His qualities far outweigh his weaknesses though.
  14. From what the little I saw of him last season, James MacCarthy from Wigan would be ideal together with Cabaye and Sissoko.
  15. Agree to an extent with Mole, only thing i'd like to point out is that while Sissoko is physically strong, he is far from a physical player. Hes got the worst timing of headers in the squad, so he never wins any duels. He never tackles, and pulls out of challenges. If we needed some steel in midfield, he is not the player I would consider as the solution.
  16. Due to life I have recently been able to get to Newcastle more often than when I was a student both in terms of finacial and work related reasons. I love the city, so I guess I have to find other things to do and spend money on when I travel there until this ends.
  17. Imagine if he'd made it all up? We can only dream. Clutching at straws - he has done this once before, and the club have yet to confirm this. Make it so!

This will either go horribly wrong or distinctly average.
  19. Needs a word with his cabaye driver then. You fly to Marseille to get to Monaco. Erm yes i know, rather like a plane the joke flew straight over your head didn't it I got yours....was Jacks post one as well?

  21. We have been at the top of the injury table for a long time, bar 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons. There is definitely something wrong with the way we train and handle injuries (provided they are being looked after in-house), as it has been an issue the last 10-11 years it cannot be a coincidence.
