Di Natale is getting on a bit now aswell, and without the support of Sanchez can't see him having a season anything close to his last 2. Totò gets better with age. Fully expect another 20+ goal season from him tbh. Didn't they sell Zapata as well? Their fans must be more disspointed than us that the club could not hold on to their best players even with CL competition. No, cause they know that this is the owner's way to run a football club and he's always been pretty clear about Udinese being a selling club irrespective of the results they achieve. Nah, I don't buy it. If we got to the CL this season, with Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Coloccini playing the season of their lives, and we sold them while Ashley came out before the season started and said we were going to be a selling club irrespective of results, would you accept it?

Didn't he score two past our reserves this season?

Still feel sorry for Leverkusen that year. 2nd in the league, cup and CL, and their best players had already agreed terms with other clubs the following season making it impossible to redeem themselves.
-
Agree, but on the other hand, another pet hate of mine is people claiming one club is bigger than another because it has more trophies even if they are not relevant anymore, and backing it up with "football existed before the premier league".

Awesome! Really? Just embarrasing to watch. How anyone over 14 find that amusing is beyond me.

While the content in the thread isn´t very funny, one of the thousand thread titles is pretty funny. "life after Zog"

This. No need for another left footed french winger/midfielder when we already got Ben Arfa and Marveaux.

I honestly don´t hear whats wrong with his pronunciations of any names mentioned so far 28 mins into the commentary.

Over the moon, couldn't be happier, the more Saturday 3pm kick offs the better. The only people complaining will be the SkyBoys who don't go to games. It doesn't have to be Sky, any broadcaster will do for your lot. The Sunderland chairman said: "Contrary to the opinion of the advocate general, the illegal showing of Saturday 3pm fixtures involving Sunderland has an extremely detrimental effect on our attendances. I can point to the evidence uncovered by an agency who covertly visited pubs and clubs in our catchment area and witnessed thousands watching the illegal broadcasts. My belief is [that] a significant number of these people are taking the easy option of spending their money in the pub, watching their team, as opposed to supporting their team and helping to create a better atmosphere at the stadium." I like how they are "spending their money" in the pub instead of "supporting their team". Is it free to attend Sunderland games now?

Aren´t we entering the third year of the Fabregas saga? About to come deadly close to the Vieira saga imo.

I thought Butt was a good signing at the time. Smith-deal however had disaster written all over it.

This for home games, and Jonas instead of Marveux in away games and against the top 5 teams for me.

Has someone mentioned the "Womens football. What is that? It´s not women, and it´s not football." line yet?

http://www.nufcblog.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Ben-Arfa-stretcher.jpg "Thanks Nigel!" (I do get what you mean btw) What a player. Most players when they suffer even a moderate injury would just cover their face on the way out. HBA somehow decided to wave to the fans after a double leg break, that takes character, I have a feeling that unless he gets a crazy offer from the likes Barcelona, Madrid or Man Utd, he will be with us for a good few years. Actually, i over looked thefact that he waved to the fans while he was probably in a lot of pain with a broken leg on a stretcher. That was a realtouch of class, imo. Or maybe it was just the Oxygen high. Can't wait for next season purely to see HBA on the pitch again. Or maybe adrenalin.

Without considering what the goals meant to me, I´d rank it: 1st - Raylor (Accrington) Great great great technique in that shot, and well placed. 2nd - Tiote 3rd - Ben Arfa All taken into account, I´d rank them: 1st - Tiote 2nd - Ben Arfa 3rd - Raylor

I love old people My grandmother used to watch "that McClyfert guy" on TV.

That´s just how I picture them in my head!!

Saw him (Piatti) live against At. Madrid two seasons ago. Was the best player on the pitch. He showed some great skills, and also worked hard the whole match. He is also freakishly small, even for a winger. Would love to see him at Newcastle.
