Help! Me and my girlfriend are in London and are traveling to and back from Newcastle to watch the game tomorrow. Is there a magical way of getting reasonably priced train tickets? We're looking at £250 atm which sounds ridiculous!?

Got tickets from my girlfriend for my birthday. Not sure if I'm dreading or looking forward to this.

They seem happy enough to me with getting £7m for the pair.

Both of those are exactly what they need as well. So glad they left.

Epic by Williamson

Tactical masterstroke by the king today.

75% bad, 25% average atm. Long may that poll trend continue.

They're probably trying to return to past glory days under Allardyce.

Surely not, it would be Gouf left to help the LB and Ameobi right to help, er, Perez. Sissoko in the middle. Just wondering since he's usually played him central when he has started lately...It´s a bad enough decision to pick him in the first place, let alone accommodate him by putting Sissoko out wide. Nothing will surprise me.

Gouffran - Tiote - Colback midfield, Sissoko and Ameobi on the wings?
-
Holy fuck. What a goal.

Aarons and Cabella should start.

Certainly showed that he is more than just a poacher as some seem to think with that cross. Showed great vision and passing ability.

CB is argueably Forests best covered position from what I have understood, which is why Lascelles is struggling to win a place in the starting lineup. He didn't have the best of times the first time he started for them this season, which was against Tottenham in the cup. Since he is only on loan, I don't think there is much incentive for Pearce to play him unless it is to rest players or due to an injury crisis.

I'll bump this in January again then.

Hello! In the somewhat likely event that Newcastle is relegated, I started thinking about what the squad would/should look like, and also what N-O's hypothetical thoughts were. For this to work, please base your starting XI and bench on the following assumptions: - Alan Pardew has been sacked in March in a desparate attempt at saving our PL status. - Mike Ashley is not interested in spending ANY money after paying out the remainder of Pardews contract. - These players have been sold/not renewed contracts/returned to owner club: Krul, Coloccini, Mwiba, Santon, Janmaat, Sissoko, Anita, De Jong, Cabella, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Riviere and Ferreyra I don't think I would actually mind another season in the championship, provided that it is under a better, forward thinking manager. We have some exciting prospects that could greatly benefit from a season in the Championship, ready to have a good go at the PL should they manage to get promoted on the first attempt. I have no idea who the manager should be, but my team would look something like: ----------------------------Darlow------------------------------- Raylor----------Williamson-----Lascelles----------Haidara ---------------------Abeid---------Colback-------------------- Ameobi-------------------Vuckic----------------------Aarons ----------------------------Perez-------------------------------- Subs: Alnwick Good Dummett Bigirimana Obertan Gouffran Armstrong Not too sure about my own inclusion of Vuckic. I think I might prefer Bigi in midfield instead of him, but it's not much creativity in there then.
