  1. I missed the lineups at the start of the game and honestly had no idea he was on the pitch for most of the first half.
  2. Dreadful performance. Utterly clueless on and off the pitch.
  3. He's not being naive at all sadly. He's a part owner of Salford City who would probably benefit from the proposals.
  4. Just dreadful, embarrassing stuff, being outplayed by Newport County
  5. Completely undeserved point there. I can see that being out go-to tactic this year, 10 minutes left, bring Carroll on to head the ball at someone's flailing arm & hope for a VAR favour.

    Transfer rumours

There's a couple of minor errors in there, fixed it though.

    Sunderland

Would be hilarious if they end up in a ground share with Hartlepool.
  8. Deep down I think he'll be fine with it. He's got to know he's out of his depth as is, all his friends told him not to take the job to begin with and whilst he hasn't managed to relegate us, he's hardly managed to mould the team into his own. At the end of his tenure here he's probably going to retire from management having managed the team he supports, will get a huge payoff and, assuming he doesn't somehow get us relegated between now and whenever the season ends, he'll take his place on a list of incredibly mediocre managers to have managed the club. Even without the takeover happening that's probably the best he could ever hope for.
  9. Genuinely haven't stopped laughing since the final whistle
  10. Crossing the ball high isn't really a very efficient way of scoring. We should be focusing on trying to pull it back low like our goal, Muto's chance, Joelinton's chance there and Matty Longstaff had a chance earlier also. Wasting our time flinging it in high We'd be a much better team & Joelinton might get some better chances if someone were to just tell him run towards the near post and tell the wide players aim for the guy at the near post. Joelinton always seems to be waiting for the ball quite deeply so any crosses that do get put in need to beat 2-3 players before he even gets a chance at a header. Get him moving to the near post & he'll have a chance at getting the ball before the defence, plus he'll drag defenders with him and create space for a cut-back pass into the centre to a player running into the box. That might require a coach with an ounce of sense though, so not very likely.
  11. Turgid match. Really happy for Almiron though.
  12. Andy Carroll's contribution to this game in gif form
  13. Dreadful. Can't wait for Bruce to make his subs and somehow make things even worse.
  14. While that was another disgrace of a performance yesterday, we are missing Martial, Pogba, Lingard, Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly, Jones and Wan Bissaka. That's basically half the first team squad and two more players who would have played yesterday instead of Rojo or Tuanzebe given the injuries. Rashford is also carrying an injury and having to play due to how short we are. He's lost a lot of pace in recent weeks. The squad is in awful shape at the moment. There aren't many managers who could do better. The only thing grating me now is Ole's interviews. He'll flat out refuse to criticise the team. Everything is "we were unlucky" or "that was a good performance." It's a stark contrast to his press work when he was caretaker manager. I kinda struggle to see any manager in the PL who would do substantially worse than Solskjær at this point. Your squad isn't particularly good, but it isn't horrible either. It's becoming more and more obvious that he is out of his depth in the Premier League. http://img.skysports.com/10/12/330/Steve-Bruce_2544816.jpg
  15. It's almost as if they have some kind of natural, almost brotherly, understanding between them.
