He’s pretty much our only saleable asset that you could countenance selling. -
This would be appropriate considering our recent heel turn

Most embarrassing tweet since Sol Campbell’s honours pitch

Quotes in the press from Shaktar that they consider him a much better player than Antony and that his price will reflect that. The inflation that Man U and Chelsea have caused in the transfer market is criminal like.

I’m going Edson Alvarez signed out the blue. Sombreros in the crowd at Fulham home.

Eddies quotes in the press conference were specifically that any transfer activity would be injury based and he specifically mentioned Shelvey’s injury. If you look at our two big injuries it’s him and Krafth. The noises from the local press are that we want a number 6 and a back up RB which is consistent with what Eddie has said. The local journos seemed to be briefed on the overall strategy but not on targets. Most of our transfer breaks come from the selling club/journos.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

If we aren’t going to do a great deal of business in this window it does make sense not to weaken a shallow squad further. -
They are giving out 7 year contracts too?

Not a massive amount of difference across the board then. Context is everything.

Hearts seems ideal - esp with the other Aussie players there too.

‘Tipped to sign’ = ex player with zero input on transfers suggests him on talksport

First time two manager have faced each other in La Liga and the Prem in the same season.

Because players know many decisions are still very subjective and if they can force a VAR review there’s a chance it may be given. Also the space on the island of relevancy for the top clubs is shrinking so maybe a bit of pressure just manifesting itself.

That was due to Willock having bad cramp and us defending a man down. He was preventing the quick throw from Arsenal. 100% the right thing to do even if it was a bit blatant.

It’s part of the game and always has been. Football is a confrontational blood and guts sport. Fight and win. HWTL.
-
It’s basically taking a stat to make a click bait point with no further context to actually quantify that.
-
We got same accusations after Liverpool and it was pointed out that the active play in the game was actually in the top ten across all games that season.

Horses for courses. Wonder Arsenals fans opinion of Everton’s performance on Saturday was…
-
Longstaff going down too stop the game when Willock was absolutely fucked was just common sense.
-
Oh learnt our lesson of losing only once this season and having the best defence in the division
-
We’re never losing another game of football mate.

and still playing a finish Aubamuyang up front

it’s not hard at all, Chelsea to lose would be great

I hate Chelsea for taking players I really like and making me dislike them intensely. Would be great if they missed the CL. Here’s hoping.

Ronaldo is completely and utterly motivated in recent years in solidifying his CL goal scoring record, once you view everything via that lens his actions make perfect sense. He is 11 clear of Messi and it very possible that Leo will catch him with 1 or 2 more seasons in the CL, the only two players who have a chance of catching him currently Haaland and Mbappe, but both need to score at an obscene rate for at least the next decade with no injuries to catch the record as it currently is. His real twisting at Man United only happened once they had failed to qualify for the CL. In his head if he can just get one or two more years playing CL games, he feels he puts the record out of reach for a generation at least, if not longer. Only viable option for him would possibly of been Sporting but they probably didn’t want him getting in the way of signing young players cheap and selling them for obscene profit each season. Plus Amorim is a smart coach and probably didn’t want him. Unless a neuvo riche club qualify and roll the dice, that’s probably him done now.
