He's actually much worse at 30 than at 20, which is pretty unheard of for a CB.

Generally one team always performs the great escape and one team gets dragged into it in the last few games. There's always a lot of shock results when it comes to teams battling relegation against sides with little/nothing to play for. Sunderland at Stamford Bridge 2 years back, Norwich at the Etihad 3 years ago etc. Unfortunately we manage to demonstrate both talentlessness and gutlessness every single game, so you can't really give us that fighting chance.
-
Yep. The 'investment' made in the central defence in the last 7 years (net spend of around £8m, I think) is perhaps the biggest tangible evidence of the club's apathetic approach to identifying and correcting weakness.
-
He's faded terribly in the second half of the season, like. He should never play centrally, mind.

Disappointing lack of Ryder typo. Tbf and as much as I despise him he's bang on with that. I don't feel sorry for many of them. Obviously there's people based down there who don't get to see their team play much and they have my absolute sympathy/envy. The rest, who've seen us lose 14 out of 16 and still travel down to sing stupid songs and applaud a group of cowards don't deserve any sympathy whatsoever. They seriously got applauded off after that? SAPPART DA TEEM NUT DA RAGIME

I was just saying this on Facebook. If it was Man U or Liverpool he had ruined he'd need security with him 24/7 and his shops would be ashes.

Not really. They've spent beyond their means for years and evidently had a team monkeys doing the auditing.

We just don't deserve PL status. We're at the point now where every fucking braindead decision since our last relegation is manifesting itself on the field every game: players physically unfit for purpose, lack of legitimate investment in the most important areas of the team, players being attracted to the club as a stepping stone and subsequently lying down on the job when it doesn't materialise. Going down is the least these cunts deserve, from Ashley to the idiot fans who've let it happen.
-
He only has to be vaguely competent at the basic aspects of defending to be a far better option than Taylor, though.
-
Carroll's so good when he's fit, man. Unplayable.
-
I loved Beardsley as a player but he's blatantly utterly shit as a coach. Should 'be moved' off the books.
-
I'd say a very large and very crude image of his face on a bed sheet complete with a tear rolling down his cheek and the message James suggested would be ace. If anything could convince him to lead us out at magnificent grounds like the Pirelli Stadium it would be that.
-
Every time a manager gets sacked Martinez come out in support of them, even when they've virtually relegated their club. He's taken Everton backwards, no question.
-
I'm concerned it's being a tad overused. Keeping it in the bag for when Neesy's inevitable meltdown occurs on relegation night.
-
I wasn't wrong about it, that's why.

Why's 3 seasons being used? Oh, yeah, because it fits this daft agenda. Anyone who think Shelvey's going to be to us in the Championship what Nolan was (in terms of goals) is probably stupid enough to think we had a good transfer window in January and looked good under McClaren. Oh wait.....
-
We both know Kevin Nolan had a very respectable goalcoring record before he joined us and Jonjo Shelvey doesn't - certainly not at top level. Honestly, you're about 4 decades too old to be wumming around on a message board, man.
