  1. Gary Lineker's Book of Ghost Stories has more credibility.
  2. Ronaldo

    Steve McClaren

simply doesn't have it in him to rouse the rabble Has the charisma of a stone A Steve Stone. A Father Stone "No, fine."

    Steve McClaren

I like the fact he doesn't criticise his players to the media, mind. Obviously something he's taken from SAF. Unfortunately he clearly doesn't command their respect like his mentor did.

    Graham Carr

If someone else had signed Cabaye the perception of Carr would be very different. And signing a French international on the verge of cementing a starting role for his country hardly constitutes great scouting anyway. Him and his mate McClaren should both be sacked.
  5. He was playing quite well because Everton were letting him play the ball from the back. Just ignore him, man. Waste of time.
  6. Ronaldo

    Steve McClaren

    Should've gone in November.
  7. Everton are a medicore side and we've just made them look like Barcelona in 3rd gear. We're utterly shit, the manager's shit and the transfer window was fucking shit.
  8. No out ball, that's what happens when you don't play/buy strikers. Stupid cunts, the lot of them.
  9. But I thought we'd had an excellent window, or at least a 6.5?
  10. And he's been the best CM we've played this season? (Shelvey and Saivet withstanding? Ronaldo just can't ever face it that his hyperbole leads him to making ridiculously over the top assessments of a player which he then can't back down from. You mean like when you said Sir Alex wanted to build his team around him?
  11. Tiote's one of the biggest on-field reasons we've won so few games at home in recent years. It's written somewhere that against a mediocre side in May he gets sent off for a second bookable offence moments after gifting the opposition a goal with a wayward pass, thus sealing our relegation. He shouldn't even be on the bench.
  12. Nope, can't do retrospectives like that, got to nail your nuts to the mast now. If he comes good it'll represent sheer good luck. He's an aging cast-off with a very poor record at international and top club level. Nothing to suggest he'll succeed in the PL. If he comes good it won't have anything to do with luck at all. Finding success (and subsequently staying up) in a loanee who has no track record of scoring goals at any decent level in his late 20s instead of going out there and signing a proven goalscorer is just about the definition of luck. We're relying on pure chance.

  14. Yep. It would drive home the biggest pisstake of the Ashley era. The utterly woeful approach to appointing coaching staff and identifying/addressing on-field deficiencies.
  15. Impressed with you, man. Well said.
  16. So, no defenders, no strikers and you aren't convinced by the midfielders yet you'd say 6.5 for the window? Honestly man, you're just a fucking parody.
  17. He's making a valid point to be fair. Noone was expecting 4 signings. Yeah we should have signed a defender but we didnt. Aye, remind us of how much better Steven Taylor is than John Terry. We've still got an utterly woeful spine. It's indefensible.
  18. 54 weirdo still defending the lack of a striker and CB. Change the record, man.
  19. Looking forward to bumping into Pep for a pint in Alderley, mind.
  20. Christ. If that guy's younger than me I've got a bridge to sell you.
  21. You don't get out much at all, do you?
