Hit and miss? I hope you meant that literally instead of in the metaphorical sense. He has 3 goals. It's nearly January. His finishing's been crap so far.
Not really irony, is it? Back then we were the 3rd best team in the country with an exceptional midfield 4 of Robert, Speed, Dyer and Solano. Now we're rightfully 17th with Anita and Colback stinking the show up every other week.
It's a decent size, which is what Gorilla meant.
It really is the pits between the seating and the turnstiles, mind. I brought some Leeds mates to SJP about a decade ago and they wandered round in amazement.
Not really sure how you can argue with the bit you've helpfully bolded.
Well I certainly don't have any obsession with him. In fact I advocated starting him almost as much as anyone (except for Ian W and the right of the 'if he's small and/or weak he must be really good' brigade). Unfortunately we've seen a fair bit of the shitty end of the stick when it comes to buying players rated highly in France so that statement alone is pretty tenuous. It was quite a stupid/lazy signing given our requirements for a dominant, physically capable CB.
Nah, Shaka was better in pretty much every respect. Loved Pav as a guy and this isn't the time for it, but let's not rewrite history regarding his ability.
Reminds me of when Pardew said QPR was 'a really difficult place to come' when they were bottom of the league, relegated, and possessing the worst home record in English football.
