I'm not saying he'd jump. But let's be honest, he'd trade that nonsense for the PL in a second if someone pays him enough. Unlikely to be us, fair play, but I don't think the 'risk' factor would deter him one bit.
I think 'ineffective' is a better word for Tiote. There are games where he appears to be doing his job very well, yet it doesn't positively impact us from an attacking or defensive perspective.
You'd think we would have, like.
All conjecture, of course, but I can't imagine our lot being made aware of a player possibly being off and immediately rushing out to 'panic buy'.
Who doesn't?
Anyway, Tiote's obviously been tapped up by some nondescript Russian rubbish offering him more money and more wives. No great loss to see him go.
I think they wanted a replacement for Mike Williamson and got it totally wrong, basically. Colo was never going anywhere because nobody else has ever wanted him.
I wouldn't say that. The breakfast show yesterday was embarrassing listening as they tried to claim that where he was from was a big part of the reason for us wanting him out.
I only listen to Drivetime. Probably should've said that.
I think Phil Brown works for the station and made some comments in defence of Pardew. Adrian Durham responded in the afternoon by calling Brown 'a disgrace'.
