  1. Still our best bet for a goal.

  3. I feel a tad uncomfortable agreeing with Cronky but I do think that the attitude towards England on here is needlessly negative at times.
  4. A new manager with an ounce of sense would try to bring him back.
  5. You don't think there's a lack of effort there?

    Yohan Cabaye

Brace. He never scored a hattrick for us.
  7. But this is true, of course. For Moyes to come here he'd have to be offered good wages and control of the 'transfer budget'.
  8. No. I'd assume that sooner rather than later he'd have us challenging for it. No we wouldn't, especially under Ashley. He'd do what he did for large percentage of his Everton career, be the best of the rest and get a top 6 spot when one of the usual candidates have an off year. I'd snap anyones hand off for that right now though. So finishing in the top 6 'a large percentage of the time' isn't challenging for the top 4? He finished in the top 5 on 3 occasions, with the likes of James Beattie up front.
  9. I hope you bottled this. I hope he didn't. The lad needs to fucking learn before he he goes out into the real world and gambles his wife and kids away.
  10. I'm with you Midds, but the heavier the defeats the better it'll be.
  11. Two full backs that can't defend, 2 CBs who cost us goals left, right and centre, and a GK about as athletic as a 3 piece suite.

    Yohan Cabaye

I don't think Dyer was great but him and Speed were perfect together. They won midfield battles against some great teams, and when it mattered.

Also, him and Dyer were a brilliant partnership in midfield. The best I've seen in our colours. They could both win the ball, play it and do damage in the final third.
  14. Isn't Janmaat back next game? Either way it's hilariously bad.

Speed was very good from 1998 to 2003 I'd say. I can't see Cabaye being as consistent over that period. Speed was good at pretty much everything, and you need a CM like that.
  16. That's the beginning knowing that mental lot, like. Fair play. You know we have members here who still retain their season tickets, right? And every time you slag off the 'sheep' you're talking about people you probably interact with here on a daily basis? I was talking about 'Gers fans, like. And, for the record, I interact with plenty of people retaining season tickets, including my immediate family. The ones I have a big problem with are those who choose to enable Ashley and Pardew and position themselves against those at the game trying to push for change.

  18. It isn't 'all Pardew' that Coloccini can no longer defend.
  19. Coloccini's even less suited to that than him. Dude, it's getting weird now. Like the crazy guy on Alan Partridge. What's crazier is people pretending that Coloccini isn't a big part of the reason our best defender is at Roma and the fact we're going down.
  20. Coloccini's even less suited to that than him.
  21. Anyway, I think it goes like this: Xavi > Iniesta > Lampard > Zidane >>>>> Pirlo.
  22. What issue? He's disliked by pretty much everyone in football. Why would he make a good coach?
