I remember proudly telling my Sixth Form ICT teacher that I wouldn't be at school for the last 2 days of the week because of the Marseille away semi. He was a top guy looking back but it felt good to piss him off like that.
This needs to stop. You'll find very few people in football who speak about Sol Campbell like he was captain material. Takes a special kind of idiot to go along with this racial nonsense.
God its only been two years and Pep's Barca have been forgotten already....
It's Cronky, man. He's probably forgotten where his teeth are twice in the last two minutes.
Chelsea concede very few goals at the best of times and Spurs were averaging less than 1 a game before Sherwood took over anyway. Just seems like you're trying to manufacture blatant errors when overall he's done a good job for them so far.
They were obviously a decent side but certainly the best example of a one-man team to have won the title in the PL era.
Well, yeah, goes without saying. Takes far more than one man to play the type of football they did, though.
It is truly magical.
Not like Mourinho set a single season points and goals scored record while beating Pep's Barcelona to the title or anything with this squad (less the additional 170 million pounds worth of talent they added this year of course).
I've never disputed that Mourinho is a very good manager. He is. One of the top three in the world. Mourinho's starting Madrid Xl was as good or better than this one, arguably, anyway.
Purely because Shearer was in his team? That's silly. Shearer was a magnificent striker then and got 34 goals in 42 games which is obviously fantastic but come on.
