Went to court for assault.
Shagged his team mates wife. Made a racist remark.
Cheated on his wife.
Being black.
I'm not talking about being THE captain either.
Who shagged a team mate's wife?
Obvious which game he meant, like. There was no abuse of SBR, though. Am element who doubted his ability to continue managing to his old standards, yes.
Lost interest so much he managed a far better goals-to-minutes ratio than those around him that season. He was still an absolute class act when he came here but Souness wanted Big Al holding the ball up.
Well Shearer was on the sidelines for about three months that season and Bellamy had gone by January. But aye Paddy clearly wanted it badly even though he only managed about 6 goals in spite of all that.
Shearer played 28 league games. Kluivert's tally of 13 in all competitions was respectable enough for his pitch time.
Why am I even bothering, though. I went to these games, you didn't. Kluivert had a lot of class left.
He would if he hadn't said virtually the same thing about not selling him to us before selling him to us. IIRC.
Exactly. It just hurts these fuckers that they're so powerless and insignificant compared to English clubs - even those outside the top 6 that make derisory offers for James Perch.

To be fair, I've got admiration for clubs who act decisively and show a bit of ambition. As nice as guy as he is, they're just making themselves look stupid, investing heavily in the squad but persevering with rubbish like Chris Hughton.
I forgot about the 1-0. Leon Best somehow running through the defence at the end then going arse over tit was a particular highlight.
Which is what convinced Pardew to give him a run in the first team - and he scored a hat-trick in the next game.
