Sad thing is he's at worst our 3rd choice CF. Indefensible.

Marveaux out for the season again, no doubt. Honestly. -
I do hope that a more level financial playing field is promoted. In the last 8 years 2 sides have basically bought 4 titles, and that just isn't right. Playoffs, though? No chance. Ludicrous idea.

why on earth would you?? His delivery and final ball is just as bad if not worse than Jonas. He bombs forward great but gets 30 yards from the opposition goal and never (well has a couple of times) finds a B&W shirt. I don't understand why people think its a good idea. I don't either, but the comparison to Jonas isn't fair. Santon has 3 assists since Jonas' last.

Moved on to finishing below him?
-
I do too, it's fantastic. Though TRon claims he was desperate to sign Tiote in the summer and there are quotes to prove it.

Just hopefully none of yours. -
He can probably climb a flight of stairs unassisted this week because of it.
-
They do share similar weaknesses, but Pardew isn't nearly as bad, in fairness.

Nowt wrong with an ego unless it isn't compounded by emotional security and intelligence. The great managers like Ferguson, Mourinho and Ancelotti have that ability to question themselves and admit when they're wrong, even if it seldom occurs. The likes of Souness and Pardew don't have that and that's where ego becomes a big problem.

Taylor is fine as long as he has someone like MYM or Colo alongside him Quite confused what you mean by this, dude. What do Colo and MYM have in common? -

Taylor won't be out the team. I think he'll cope fine next season provided he gets the games in. -
AVB has grown on me, must say. Top bloke and obviously a very good coach.

Wum v Wum. Clash of the light flyweights in ere.
-
Yeah, fair play to him for that.

Think it also had a lot to do with Ba wanting to play centrally. A manager worth his salt would have found a way to accommodate both Ba and Cisse centrally without resorting to the tripe that Pardew did. Alright, the wide options were poor so a conventional 4-4-2 was always going to be tough, but hey, why not try it for 7 or 8 games on the bounce (and completely kill Shane Ferguson's confidence by subbing him at half time every week?). I know. Just saying, the Wigan game probably wasn't his only reason.

Got his facts right as usual.

Ba has nothing to do with it. We were on something like 20 points from 20 games with him an ever-present.

We don't help ourselves by floating each and every single corner in, would do us good to drill the odd one in with pace. I completely agree that the organisation is poor, but the deliveries when well-intentioned are also usually poor and we don't have anyone bar Taylor who attacks the ball in the air. The personnel at hand just isn't conducive to scoring from them. That said, you would expect us to get at least 2 or 3 from corners by default. How conducive were Oscar or Suarez to scoring from aerial crosses, yet both managed to do it in the space of 90 mins today. Even our own little Gouffran scored from a clever cross from that brainless moocher Cisse yesterday. Being abnormally tall isn't a massive asset among the top strikers in the game today. Who on earth mentioned being tall? You want us to bring Carroll back for what reasons then?
-
As stupid as this lot often are, there's no chance of him staying if we go down.

I thought Harry got an easy ride from the press. Looks like par for the course next to this nonsense.
