Very good keeper. I'd have thought he'll be wanting a proper move soon. I suspect it is Liverpool not wanting to sell, tbh. They're signing Itandje, who is the keeper Villa had on trial last week but sent back, which is a bit odd. They also signed some Bulgarian keeper this summer who was surplus to requirements at Levski Sofia because of his bad attitude. Not sure what the hell they're doing with these keepers. It's no gaurantee he'll ever get his first touch "sorted" though, it's generally an innate thing. He can improve it, no doubt, but I doubt his first touch will ever be top class. Then, he has enough other qualities to his game that he can get away with his first touch only being alright. Oh no doubt he is a class player but at times his first touch is such a let down, it is a part of his game he can work on and I am sure is something Big Sam will look at with him. His first touch has looked alot better in pre-season i have to say. But Viduka, Solano and Cacapa. i'm afraid Cacapa isn't that sophisticated technically Solano, Emre, Luque, Viduka all have it..

Bojinov is hardly a world class talent.. he has a good shot on him, and he can play with both feet, but he's a bit of a trouble maker and if things don't go right for him from the start, chances are that he'll flop, like he did at Fiorentina and Juve.. Petrov is a typical inconsistent Robert-like winger, he likes to run with the ball on the left, has a good cross and a decent shot, also good at set pieces, but just like Robert has a habit of isolating himself near the touch line and is either brilliant or absolutely terrible during games.. i'm not sure if they can cut it in the PL, although i said the same about Berbatov last year and he raised his game a lot for Spurs..

I've heard the same thing, I've also heard Clarkie won't be at Newcastle much longer as Sam isn't impressed at all with him and neither are a few players. But we're not allowed to criticise Clarkie as we haven't actually seen him at work and for all we know he could be a brilliant coach.
