  1. Why not both? If we got £26m in for Owen & Martins and brought those two in for £7-9m I'd be over the moon. no, thanks
  2. Vaz Te isn't that prolific for a striker and we already have two better ones of the same type.. although he can play on the wings too, right?
  3. which Michael? the one that got the harsh sentence in Bulgaria or Owen?
  4. WUM? yep.. although some might actually be an improvement over the current players
  5. D Henderson J Loyd Samuel Neil Clement A Ferdinand Ben Thatcher R Kishishev Dele Adebola John Stead Ian Pierce and Berbatov
  6. I'm kinda struggling with it as well. Doesn't quite fit for some reason! But if Crazy Claudio does go there, I reckon it's a good appointment for City. Be nice to have the mad old bugger back in the league as well Ranieri knows all about Corradi, too. I'd like to see Ranieri at the toon, let city have Sam "brown envelope" Allardyce. has the FA accused Sam of selling smack now?
  7. notice the only quote in the article .. the rest of course is the usual alan oliver interpretation.. of course there might be a grain of true, as Solano left the club few weeks later i believe, but still all the marks of typical Oliver bullshit
  8. i really hope that with the new manager there will be a new captain appointed, i'd personally give it to Given, simply cause he deserves it most for his service throughout the years. Butt isn't a bad shout, but i guess he can shout at team mates without the armband, cause one fairly good season is all he has, just like Parker had when he was choosen for captain, which proved to be a bad choice.
  9. why are people so bothered about them two going awol? it's not like the Watford game had any significance at all. at the end of the day we couldn't catch Boro even if we won. of course loads of people traveled a long way to see us win against the bottom team, but i don't think Martins and N'Zogbia disrespected the fans or the club in any way, as they weren't even in the starting eleven, because of quality players like Shola and Pattison.. they disrespected the two clowns who were in charge of that game and who'll f*** off soon enough and hopefully Sam or whoever will show more common sense in dealing with the few quality players that we have.

    Hasselbaink

    what's wrong with you man
  11. he's not a w****** but he's one of Luque's few friends at the club
  12. we should get rid of those who didn't have conflicts with the management team tbh because it's crystal clear that the whole Roeder crew are incompetent morrons and i can't blame anybody going mad because of their decisions
  13. i reckon his nigerian buddy (you know, the left back) may have given him some tips

    Viduka

i'd have him instead of Sib.. he's a good player when he's arsed
  15. if Sam signs Barton and sells N'Zogbia, because of his 'attitude problems' .. that would be a major.. em.. that would be typical NUFC
  16. in Italy, there are quite a few women commentators and sports presenters and they're doing ok, because women are generally more interested in footie there and don't just talk bollocks and also italian language is more melodic compared to english, so it doesn't sound that strange when a lady is raising her voice after a tackle or something..
  17. his legacy is the same legacy which he inherited from Souness. he failed to address the important issues, which were clear to everybody (center backs, full backs, creative attacker) The only thing we should be grateful to him for is bringing Martins, although i'm sure he preferred Kuyt at the time. He should've tried Luque and N'Zogbia instead of buying Damien 'never be the same' Duff, who we're stuck with now..
  18. pity mate, not the best first game. better luck next time. What killed me wasn't that we lost, it was that the players had already completely lost the fans. The small Man City away section completely out-cheered the entirety of SJP for the whole game. You could hear a pin drop where me and my mate were sitting. Just a horrible, horrible year for the club, I suppose. you find that at most grounds these days ie the away fans outshout the home fans, because the away fans are the real diehards and part of going to away games is the whole day experience. Getting match day atmosphere at football grounds is a bit of a problem and needs addressing by the authorities, the solution IMO is allowing standing areas again. It's been a horrible last 2 years mate, hopefully the new manager will start an upturn in fortunes again I've only ever been to 3 away games and we never scored a goal in any of them but i loved every second of the experiance. Absolute belting time. I agree with regards to standing tears, would be great to see. yep.. only in the premier league you get the away support outsinging the home fans, because of the regulations and season ticket allocations..it feels like like you're at a theater or something.. that's why i mainly go to away games..Newcastle have one of the best away supports in England, so it's always worth it
  19. there's no dispute.. Pearson will fuck off as he should and there will be a clean start for Zog
