He wouldn't sell for half a billion and nobody will give him that. By now, it should be clear to everybody that the club is not for sale AT ANY PRICE.
-
I can't believe people continue to fall for this shit. Another cryptic, amateurish "statement" from the multi-billion corporation.. Once again not released through official channels. The essence of it is, of course, that great guy Mike Ashley really wants to sell the club and is indeed very helpful with the whole process.. Aye, this takeover is definitely genuine.

Reads like a shorter version of Kenyon's love letter to Ashley. The Bish is lagging these days..

Disagree with everything you say and Crystal Palaces revenue for advertising and sponsorship the last two years was 9.4 and 6.4 million and you say that it would increase to 40 million by a few more logos? As I said before please provide your evidence to back this up as I'm happy to be proved incorrect. "Few more logos" is the reason why Ashley bought Newcastle and the evidence for their worth is 12 years of lies and failed and faked takeovers. Of course the ultimate evidence is that Ashley still does not want to sell for ANY price. Why could that be?
-
Sorry like but share price and advertising gains have no direct correlation whatsoever. Also comparing a shirt sponsorship with the stadium that has around 500 SD logos plastered all over it is not right. If Sports Direct decide to do the same advertising at say.. Crystal Palace's ground it'll cost them at least 30-40 mil a year. It's clear that Sports Direct is benefitting so much from Newcastle, that the club has become unsellable.

I'm sorry but people who find solace in the mackems' plight totally fail to see what's really happening at "our" club. At least these small time cunts still have a club to support. On the other hand, there's no more Newcastle United - this bitter, snide, vengeful bully has killed this club and when he finally fucks off (won't be soon imo) there will be nothing left. There's a common misconception that all Ashley cares about is money. I think that his actions in these painful 12 years show without a doubt that he's an evil, paranoid coward who's main motivation is to "prove people wrong". It's not about business for him, it's about the hurt feelings of a man-child. In his mind, he's above the fans, above the history and traditions of the club, above Rafa Benitez and Kevin Keegan, above HMRC, above Companies House, above Parliament and the most basic labour laws.. We are stuck with a truly evil man on a major power trip and he hates us. Some day he'll get what he deserves.
-
Still don't believe that Ashley wants to sell but if we're getting rid of our 'key players' while we don't have coaching staff, nevermind any vision or strategy.. Even that cunt must see that relegation is a certainty. Hopefully this is indeed Ashley's exit strategy - to fuck us over as much as he can.. Infact anything else would be a surprise, the spiteful twat that he is.
-
It's true and bullshit at the same time
-
Do people remember Ashley's public apology to him on Sky? I'm sure they'll appoint Allardyce. Think of all the corrupt deals our overlords can freely engage in.
-
Group of morons? How? Well clearly because they don't want Rafa. But they are okay with whoever third-rate chancer Ashley appoints. Yep, this takeover is definitely happening, just like the previous 20 times.
-
Like I said it might be down to the fact they’ve indicated they don’t want him. The fact?? The only fact that matters is that Mike Ashley has never wanted to sell NUFC - Sports Direct's most profitable (free) advertising deal. 12 years of lies and people still can't grasp reality.. Keep on clutching at those straws if it helps you feel better though..
-
The end. Good luck to anybody who continues to support Sports Direct FC.. fuck everything

FFS mate Blessed are the believers

0. It's clear that Ashley wants somebody more "manageable"

I realise I'm joining the unpopular kids here but I still refuse to believe Ashley has any intention to sell the club. I had a major shock recently, when a huge fucking box, plastered with about 1000 Sports Direct logos arrived at the doorstep. Turns out my wife has ordered this Peppa Pig bicycle thing for our daughter from fucking SD of all places. It's been less than a month and I already had to repair the motherfucker three times. And my daughter doesn't even ride it a lot. Today, she (2 year old) saw me looking at some NUFC videos on my phone. She recongnised the "logo" plastered all over SJP.. instantly.. from like 3ft away. "Daddy buy Peppa Pig toy!?". My daughter can't even say my name yet but she knows Sports Direct, fucking amazing that. So yeah, THAT's why I'm of the opinion that Ashley doesn't want to sell the club, as long as Sports Direct is in his interests and the PL is watched. The advertising "deal" with SD can't be compared to many other PL sponsorships, the ground is absolutely covered in this branding abomination, more than any other in the PL or any other stadium I can think of. If you're watching a random 1min goal highlight, you'll see Sports Direct at least 3-4 times. The logo's blatant contrasting ugliness is projected to billions of people every couple of weeks and Sports Direct benefits massively from that. How much would it cost you to target 1-2 billion people on Adwords or Facebook? Mike Ashley takes that for free from Newcastle United for 12 years. Very noble of him to finally agree to pay something.. how much is it - 6-7 million a season? The real cost of such aggressive, culture-overtaking advertising is at least ten times bigger.. just like Sports Direct's profits from our unfortunate association. And there are still people that argue Ashley "isn't taking money from the club"..
-
I fear that Caulkin's article is based on a conversation with Rafa. They have a good relationship and speak often.
-
So that's it.. well done Ashley you fucking prick
-
http://www.nufcblog.com/2019/05/31/has-newcastle-striker-just-spilled-the-beans-on-the-takeover/ I don't understand Spanish like, but I think he refers to a new manager and coaching staff
-
If we're being realistic it's most likely Ashley taking the piss again. Yet another manifactured 'takeover' attempt excuse as a final fuck you to Rafa.
-
Please let this be because Rafa wants his own people in. Did Rafa bring him in? Can't remember. Nah.. He was brought by Joe Joyce as a U18 manager back in 2011 or something.. Carver had him as a senior defensive coach during his tenure.
-
What a hero header that was!
-
Not simply avoiding spending money in a window though is it? Imo, all the PR efforts, which I've listed above aim to manage Rafa's exit and attempt to soften the fan discontent which will follow it. Reality shows that they are indeed relying on frequent and deliberate misinformation in the running of the club. As we all know it has been proven in court. So in effect the "conspiracy theories" are backed up by Ashley's actions over a 10-year period and a court order, while all the proof that there is a genuine bid comes from Ashley's mouth and the "general feeling around the club". Forgive me for being skeptical.
-
In the past he has bought players like Danilo, Ghoulam and Fabio Aurelio, so it's not like he can't spot attacking talent in a full back.
-
All true, but do you not think Kenyon would've come out and denied it publicly if it wasn't true? If people were blatantly making shit up about him and his business dealings you'd think he'd release a statement of some sort I'm no expert on Peter Kenyon but I remember him for the way he left his "beloved" Man Utd for Chelsea and his apparent involvement in the super-dodgy Obi Mikel transfer. Although it's a bit conspirative, It's not beyond the realms of possibility that he's acting on Bishop instructions. He's not breaking any laws, his reputation can only be enhanced by the takeover rumours, even if a deal doesn't materialise. After all, it has been reported that various American investors have trusted him with hundreds of millions to buy and run a football club.
