i think milner has probably been our best player overall this season but i can actually see his point and think its far from dog s***! he is inconsistent with his crossing and isnt sure sometimes whether to cross or take a man on! his biggest asset by far is his workrate. i do however think that at his age he is an excellent prospect and has plenty of time to gain experience. So he's 21 and learning his game, no need for another thread pulling him down tbh. i agree with that!

Just what Newcastle United need. A change of manager. We're already a f****** laughing stock ffs! And we'll continue to be one with such an incompetent manager at the helm. A laughing stock who's team is in the last 16 of the UEFA cup. Has a good chance of qualifying for Europe again. And has performed heroics with the worst injury pileup in the clubs history. Word. I'd say we have little chance of progressing further than the next round of the Uefa Cup, and mid table mediocrity bekons in the league. As for injuries, they've only be highlighted to such an extent because Roeder has failed to address the gaping holes in our squad during the last two transfer windows. nice and optimistic fan i see Honesty - a bad thing? what has honesty got to do with anything? i dont expect him to lie about what he thinks, i just think its pessimistic. i suppose this should be in the duffs dive thread, but i dont think its likely that diving is ever going to be stopped, would you rather teams dived against us to get results and we played honestly when opportunities to go down arised and lost points due to it? i think it evens itself out over time and its sadly part of the game. all things considered i think roeder has done an ok job, considering the club was right in the shit when he took over. it would be a backwards step if we replaced him at the end of the season.

it depends if people are considering their lineup as of current form, or whether they are playing to the best of their ability. I would play milner on current form but if our players were playing to their ability i probably wouldnt put him in the team. But Milner has been doing it for nearly 2 seasons now and is only 21, how long does it take for him to be good enough? i see your point but i personally dont think his ability at present is as good as the 4 in midfield i would choose, although i must admit in my selection it is more accomodation to dyer than whether he is actually good in right mid, but id want to see him try it there. Otherwise i would actually put milner in.
