  1. Ritchie for Anita and that's our strongest current lineup I'd say (assuming Sissoko is off).
  2. Has a great touch. Looks like he could be a good player.
  3. Frustrating. We shouldn't have lost but we didn't create enough. If this is a one off then we need to recover; we just need to make sure it doesn't turn into a form thing.
  4. Anita, Gayle, Perez, Colback all been either shite or anonymous. We've dominated possession but done nothing with it.
  5. There's only one word to describe Colback. Can you spell it out for me?
  6. If it's been settled between the two that wanted it then I'd imagine it's between Gayle and Mitro. The logical outcome is Gayle probably conceded it as he's newer. Given Mitro's mentality he does strike me as the sort of person that would benefit from having it.
  7. Really happy with this one, something we really need
  8. That blur had a Perez swagger about him then.

All of our players go backwards, though. Look at how good Sissoko was when he first arrived, yet he has a few good games for France and people can't believe their fucking eyes. We've had a huge problem with man-management and basic coaching for a long, long time. Rafa will sort it, thankfully. Missed this.
  10. Not sure I totally agree with that. It depends how flexible he wants the players beyond those two to be. If we are playing a rigid formation then you may be right, but if we're going to have interchanging attacking players throughout games then it could work well.
  11. Tiote and Lucas holding with an attacking midfielder in front would be pretty damn strong for the Championship.
  12. He looked alright in one game (Everton, I think), but it's hard to really judge based on so little what kind of player he is.
  13. He was better for us under Rafa than Sissoko was.
  14. Yep, he wasn't poor long.
  15. He had a couple of awful patches tbf. Particularly when he first signed and also during Cisse's first 6 months. Was mostly good, though. Far from awful in those 6 months. Was fairly effective being played out of position, even if the goals weren't flowing. Maybe awful is an overstatement but he was the player I had the least faith in producing something in the final third during that time. He always seemed to play for himself which has never really sat right with me, and as a result I've never really had any attachment to him.

  17. Not even tempted to watch it
  18. twang! Prophetic as it turns out, although I wasn't referring to his hamstring at the time. Ooh look at me, I can predict the future. Prophetic. This needs more love. I was quite proud of this, but nope, nothing!

Just watched all of his goals from his first 6 months. He really was just a complete striker during that time He actually seemed composed back then as well, some of his finishes were calm and well taken. Ever since then he seems to have lost that composure and always just blasts everything.
