  1. Used to really like him. He came in and looked like he was a winner and wouldn't accept failure but unfortunately it looks like the clubs ambition wore him down to what he is now. Would be happy for him to stay; he wouldn't get away with poor performances under Rafa.
  2. Absolutely no chance he's staying IMO. He offers a lot despite his limitations, but I wouldn't be bothered to see him go; he's acted a cunt for the majority of his stay with us.
  3. Put exactly the same 2 and 2 together as you on that one. I know he's been crap, but it's the Championship. Exactly.
  4. What's Arteta like these days? We've not been linked but saw on MoTD he was free in the summer.

    England

Not one fucker in that squad older than me; depressing
  6. Ceiling is very high for his ability, currently very little. Such a frustrating player; one of the most enjoyable players to watch when he's flying. I still think he'll go on to be a key player for a big club.

They'll probably end up relatively comfortable lower mid table next season.
  8. I hate Cisse, he's not been reliable for a long, long time in front of goal, and he's a useless footballer to boot. Much rather see Mitrovic play.
  9. I like Mitrovic, but unfortunately for him he's missed chances in a lot of games this season that have ended up being costly both in individual games and to the outcome of the season. Not solely his fault, he has a shite defence to aid him with the blame.

I'm afraid that's it for us. Let's just hope Rafa fancies a year in the Championship.
  11. I'm sure I don't have the facilities at my disposal that he does, but I was on crutches 6 weeks when I injured my knee in October. They take a long time.
  12. The three players that have all but won Leicester the league absolutely haven't played top level football most of their careers Exactly And again, that argument would hold water if this season isn't the glaring exception to the norm we all know it is. This is true, but that's not what you argued.

    Andros Townsend

Similar to Robert's free kick against Liverpool Aye, that was the one it reminded me of. I always thought the goalie shouldn't let the Robert one in. Townsend's was unstoppable IMO, even with the dodgy instep from the keeper.
  15. Rafa is a great motivator, I think that could be down to his CV as much as anything. The players are clearly playing for the manager in a way that we haven't seen since we finished 5th. Still not playing well though, Still look disorganised, can't really say we desrved the win today. I know Rafa is a good manager and the players look more bothered but they still look like strangers on the pitch. Personally I think the biggest difference under Rafa is how much more organised we look.
  16. Spurs will probably be up there but I imagine it's going to be significantly harder for them next season.

Good couple of results; we've given ourselves a chance but my gut is telling me we've left it too late. At least if we go down we'll have 1) done so fighting; and 2) possibly given Rafa a minor incentive to stay with us if we go down.

    Alan Shearer

It always felt like a bit more than a goal when Shearer scored. Only player that came close to giving me that similar feeling was when Carroll was in beast mode.

    Andros Townsend

He's actually not that fast in a straight sprint. I like him though despite his faults.
