Seems like we just believed Trafford was on his way here since last year. We probably do have others on the shortlist but maybe we don't have the personnel to sign them or as much confidence they will succeed, so buy another season to plan. I guess. It's not great but Pope is still good.

Pope is not done, some people are have just been driven insane by this transfer window. Not that I blame them. Pope is a very good keeper, with a weakness in passing.

Absolutely, all I can think is that we thought our targets were realistic and they ended up being hijacked. I mean, Joao Pedro isn’t exactly Isak, Man City might not have wanted Trafford, I didn’t think Ekitike was even someone who’d go for £90m.
