What I mean is, they have the mix so that the on-field stuff is the focus. I would assume.
-
They focus on the sounds of the ball and the commentary I guess.

What were you before?

Big blow but hopefully our improvement is embedded now. Pointless trying to predict how long it’s going to be.

Not sure Shelvey’s set pieces are that good. -
Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Possibly the most annoying type of post. People discussing elements of the performance or players doesn’t mean they aren’t enjoying the improvements. -

It's amazing that it's spreading to other stands and not just Gallowgate. Class work all -
Here’s from the VAR FAQ:
-
Yeah, but I just can’t see how it could be a clear error, since it’s so close to the line. It’s arguably on the line. Which means it’s understandable that the ref gave a pen, and it should not have been overturned? Clear evidence based on the replay is not the same as deciding that the error was clear and obvious. Or is it? I thought the point was that they don’t re-referee the game, they decide if the error itself is obvious. Which here is isn’t.
-
They’re different rules though, aren’t they? We know offside is judged exactly by VAR. Some other offences are judged by this ‘clear and obvious error’ test. Really just asking if the rules were applied properly.
-
Just thinking, our pen… VAR is checking for a ‘clear and obvious error’ or is it checking whether the foul was inside the box? If the former, it clearly wasn’t obvious and the ref gave it, so by the rules it should be a pen?

I really like Wolves, some great players.

Wouldn’t say I’m back to normal, but TBH I can’t really remember what normal was like. This could easily be the best period of my life as fan really, being an adult for it. -
Totally agree, I never said it was a negative. Someone just raised the issue and I kind of agreed.
-
Just the runs I’ve seen him do. Not a big deal, just doesn’t look massively athletic or explosive. It’s not really worth discussing TBH, it was just a thought.
-
I think he's going to be class, I just don't think athleticism or explosiveness will necessarily be his main strengths. Fairly pointless discussion anyway.
-
He doesn’t look quite PL-level athletic at the moment, think that’s fair to say. Whether he needs to be, I dunno.
-
It’s handy that Burn is so immense in the air, means the case for Lascelles is less strong.
-
He didn’t play for nearly a year or something. FFS Brucey Shame we actually peddled Lejeune.

England’s Dan Burn named Player of the Season 24/25

He’s very elegant on the ground as well, covers a lot of distance very smoothly. -
Very pleased to see him get a chance alongside Burn. Keep them both in please.
-
Yeah, there’s plenty of work to do yet. But at least we look capable now.
-
Yeah, probably a 4 now. More likely to stay up. Hopefully we can pack the ‘ometer away in a couple of weeks.
