We don’t know because nobody has really seen him play, but I’m not convinced we would really notice the difference if he played instead of Dub. I don’t really know either, but he’s number one for Greece, he’s not a non-league player.

But the trend was that every team just needed an elite DM to go to the next level.

I love all our players except Longstaff, but Isak is the one who is irreplaceable if we want to continue to challenge for the CL places. Replace him with a normal striker and it’s possible we don’t get anywhere near. Hopefully the calculations of who we can afford to sell and keep will take this into account.

It’s a hangover from the Ashley era that he’s even here TBH. We’ve had a lot of these players over the years who really are lucky to be playing PL football. I actually had made up my mind not to slag him off this year

That news story from November claims progress is still being made and the site is now ready for construction to start. We’ll see I guess, shame because something on that side would be amazing for the area.
