  2. Just had a quick scroll though and to buy 10 shares it works out at just over 11k. e Each share holder can only hold 10 shares from what ive read, CCFC owe about 220k to various debts.

  4. Turned down Forest seemingly. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5919185,00.html Leon Best has revealed he turned down a move to hometown club Nottingham Forest in order to sign for Newcastle United. The 23-year-old striker looks set to make his Magpies debut against Cardiff on Friday night after securing a deadline day move from Coventry. Best was courted by several clubs after netting 10 goals for the Sky Blues during the first half of the season but insists he was only ever interested in a move to St James' Park. He said: "This move happened at the right time for me. It was the easiest decision I've had to make in my career. "I weighed up my options as there was interest from Nottingham Forest but I'm not sure it's always the best thing to do to go back to your home town. "There were lots of teams interested, but Newcastle were the only ones willing to put the money in and as soon as I heard that I was on the motorway." The Republic of Ireland international burst onto the scene as an 18-year-old at Southampton and feels the time is now right for him to shrug off his tag of talented youngster. "I've been talked about as a player with potential ever since I made my debut at Southampton, but you can't be a player of potential your whole career," he added. "There has got to be a stage where you move on to the next level and I feel I have got the perfect platform to do that with Newcastle." Hughton gets shirty Best has been handed the No.20 shirt at Newcastle despite the famous No.9 jersey currently without an owner. Manager Chris Hughton is adamant he will only bestow that honour if either Best, or one of his strike partners, earns the right to wear it. Hughton said: "It's one of the most iconic shirts around and it's something I've done deliberately. "What we have is a lot of strikers here and I'm quite sure every one of them would have wanted to wear the No.9. "When I came to the club I was made aware of what the No.9 meant to this place and it's a combination of a few things. "For some, I think it can be a heavy number to carry, a burden if you like, and wearing it is an achievement which I want somebody to grow into. I want somebody to earn the right to be Newcastle's No.9." Best understands that decision and has vowed to do all he can to secure that shirt in the future. He said: "They showed me the numbers that were available when I signed and I took the 20. The No.9 shirt has to be earned here, it isn't like the No.9 shirt at other clubs. "You can't just walk in and take it."
  5. Get well soon. http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Reds-assistant-boss-s-son-injured-car-crash/article-1806045-detail/article.html THE son of Nottingham Forest assistant manager David Kelly was injured after a car he was in ploughed into a house. The teenager was with four friends in a black mini when the accident happened in Mere Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, just after 12.30pm on Wednesday. One youth was cut free from the wreckage and airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital and three others were treated for shock and whiplash at Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham. The friends, all thought to be aged 16 to 18, were thought to have been taking a break from lessons at Arthur Terry School in Sutton Coldfield when it happened. A West Midlands Police spokesman said two of the youths remained in hospital and were today in a "serious but stable" condition. he two others have been released from hospital. The black mini is thought to have clipped a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck and mounted the pavement before went through a garden and into the living room of the semi-detached house. Three tots, Dylan, aged two, and twins, Evie and Maisie, aged one, would normally have been playing in the lounge. Their mother Debbie Hill, 32, told the Birmingham Evening Mail she had taken them to nursery for the first time on Wednesday. "If the kids hadn't been at nursery they would have been flattened. "I'm not bothered about the house, I'm just pleased they are all right. "I was watching TV when I heard a huge bang. "I rushed out and four of the lads were already out but the other one seemed in a bad way. One of the neighbours was dealing with him and the paramedics were here very quickly." A Nottingham Forest spokesman said: "It's a private matter but our thoughts are with David and his family."
  6. Moritz Volz is training with QPR, id have him just to watch him ride round Longbenton on a fold up bike.
  7. Breaking news, the debate to let Celtic and Rangers to the Premiership moves on. The old firm have joined forces and sponsored the takeover of an ailing Championship team to gain entry into the Premier League having lost a recent Premiership Chairman 's vote. Evening Chronicle sources reveal that the plot was hatched last year with the appointment of Tony Mowbrary as Celtic manager to run the rule over Scottich talent. As part of the plan Gordon Strachan was offered by Celtic to hard up Boro in a deal to replace Gareth Southgate and buy a controlling interest in Mowbrary's old club. This has now prompted the exodus of old firm Scots players to Boro as part of the plan to get into the Premiership by the back door. From next season Boro will sell their remaining shareholding and naming rights to enable the club to rebrand as Celtic. The Boro brand will then transfer to Glasgow where Tony Mowbrary will realise his ambition of managing his former club. Rangers will then follow suit with a mirror purchase of Sunderland where Steve the Bruce has been secretly hiding his Scottish roots for decades while also working under cover for Newcastle to destroy their fiercest rivals in their quest to expand their fan base.
  8. Isnt his Father some Egyptian money man though ?
  9. He is young, english and scoring goals in the league we are in......most teams would be happy with the first two.
  10. Babayaro's wiki says he has joined Forest.
  11. Saggy twat on SSN now, getting himself more brownie points with the british media.
  12. No wonder this club gets a reputation of having deluded fans. Calling Fulham a nothing club. Dear me. They are a nothing club, they have no history, a terrible stadium, barely any fans and have only been kept in the Premiership at all over the years by a very generous owner. Points to both sides of the argument like, although i cant see how any club in the EPL should be called a nothing club.
  13. Camp Gunter Taylor Morgan Enrique Ambrose Whittingham Smith Adam Chopra Earnshaw Yes Colo has been great but for me he bloody should be considering how much we paid for him and his wages so Wes Morgan gets it.
  14. Just watched his interview on SSN, Wayne its black and white not blue and white lol also how scary are his eyes !!!!
  15. That's probably his main weakness, his end product is inconsistant. Sounds like Aaron Lennon tbf
  16. Shorey has been re-called back to Villa from Forest, suits us.
  17. Isn't he in supposedly huge wages? (which has stopped him from leaving several times). I don't rate him that highly but obviously he would probably rip this league to shreds. Yip, thats the sticking point so i hear.
  18. Forest in a loan bid for Roman Pavlyuchenko ?
  19. I used to tell him he was a decent young player. Wouldnt want him to request a pay rise.
  20. gotta be able to run faster then the last plonker to wear it.
  21. I know I can't actually believe this signing. It makes so much sense. Cant be an Ashley choice, theres no good places to party around QPR. Well done Hughton. Though we will run out of ex Spurs players he used to work with that will be good enough/want to come fairly quickly. Its certainly been a very pleasant surprise, were there any ITK's on this one ?
  22. Excellent, really pleased with this, gives us some much needed pace down the right, a good young hungry player added to the squad. Well done NUFC.
