Great read on the 4-4. It goes to show "just how nasty" that piece of shit Llambias could be. Hughton being sacked was a total injustice. Not to stray too far from the subject but that match day was arguably the most entertaining I can remember seeing in the Premier League. Goals and late drama all over the place. 1. Like I said I don't think 400 million is an outrageous price. Sports clubs over here in North America change hands for considerably more money than that and their worldwide exposure is nowhere near that of the PL. It's not a bad price when you rake in a guaranteed 100 million just by surviving in the division, that's a 1/4 of your initial investment in one year, that's not profit of course but few owners are in it for that, even if Ashley had taken the 300 million, he would have recouped all his investment in the club and had a decade of priceless free band exposure. This is not America ... Sha la la la la ... It doesn't matter, I just used that as a reference point. The big take here is that Ashley could recoup all he invested in the club, by taking the lowest offer he was made already (along with the hard to quantify value for brand exposure).. 400 million is a lot of money though and not many folks have it to spend on a football team but I do think it's a OK price for what an investor would get. He's already moved the goal posts with Staveley's offers. If someone offered 400m he'd want 425. Anything he says is PR and stall tactics to temporarily keep the pressure off.

I always loved the white shorts & socks combo with out kits to be honest. In particular the 2001-2003 home kit was probably my all-time favourite.

Had an absolute mess of a gameweek. Transferred Kane and Perez out for Aguero and Slimani, and took out Mahrez for Martial so that cost me 8 points. Ended up with a gentleman's 29 after the points were taken off

Staveley has either put in another bid since Ashley’s outburst or is preparing one. She’ll be back for us, it maybe after the TV deal, after safety is confirmed (if it happens, and happens before the end of the season), or in the summer. I'd like to imagine she's preparing another one at the very least. On the other hand for all we know she could have submitted it but Ashley is still ignoring her. It took 3 months to hear about the original 3 bids when she revealed it in that interview.

If he's gonna be their regular forward then I think he'll actually do alright there. Hope he can find some form.
