He was booed on to the pitch. It's funny how the stadium announcer shouts Steve Taylor's name like he is some sort of fan favourite.

Shola draws level with Andy Cole. A 5 goal final flourish against Liverpool to overhaul Peter Beardsley perhaps?

Newcastle United 3 - 0 Cardiff City - 03/05/14 - post-match from page 53
LoveItIfWeBeatU replied to Mike's topic in Football
Cardiff were terrible. NUFC barely got out of second gear, didn't really try to score in the second half (until the last few minutes) and played in a negative atmosphere yet we still won 3 - 0. -
No way will Pardew quit. Even if he wanted to he wouldn't. It is very rare for a manager to quit. If they quit they don't get their pay off.
-
I hope Man U don't end up qualifying for the Europa League.

Even if we win the crowd (who haven't left) aren't going to be cheering the team. On paper we should win. If we'd got a draw against Swansea the other week, the team would have been booed off anyway. The football was shit to watch. Pricks in the media criticise supporters for complaining about managers who's teams play awful football to grind out results. For example: - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27240312 Football is meant to be entertaining.

Simeone should shake Mourinho's hand and walk off down the tunnel (to tell his wife the result).

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27200000 The article also includes a table with NUFC bottom of the form table, a big photo of the "Pardew Out" banner, Pardew's interview from last night and these stats: - The Magpies have scored only 10 league goals in 2014, the fewest in the division. They have scored one and conceded 17 in their six losses in a row.

The media don't seem to get that it's the s*** football we are sick of more than our position in the table. Gary Neville on Sky yesterday saying if we'd been offered 9th at the start of the season we'd have taken it. What if that offer of 9th had also stated that we'd get enough points for safety in the first half of the season and then lose just about every game in the second half of the season, regularly being hammered and rarely scoring. Would Gary Neville think the NUFC fans would have wanted that? Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville would be very vocal if their own clubs had performed like we have in the second half of this season. As soon as Man U were playing s*** football and losing the media were sticking the boot in. I bet Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville also question why the West Ham fans want rid of Sam Allardyce. What are they complaining about? They've got safety. As if that is all that matters. Maybe the "We're s*** and we're sick of it" chant needs to come back. That helped get rid of Sam Allardyce.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27099847 I wonder what Ian Dennis' definition of "football terms" is? NUFC have played crap football for the majority of the season. I bet he has barely seen NUFC play this season. He probably also wonders what the West Ham fans are complaining about Fat Sam for too.

If Pardew hasn't lost the dressing room then the players are admitting to being a shower of s***. How badly would they play if they had given up on Pardew? They couldn't possibly play any worse could they?

"The Robbie Savage Premier League awards" Villain of the season is Alan Pardew. Goes on about the head butt and ends on "His team are under performing." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27155717

He doesn't love Christ anymore.

I wasn't a fan of his until he ditched all that God nonsense and turned into an Atheist. A presenter of "Songs of Praise" who is now an Atheist. Well done that man! http://defendreason.ebaker.me.uk/2007/06/jonathan-edwards-looses-god.html Minus points for the "defendreason" website for spelling "loses" as "looses" in that link.

I was. Shola, de Jong, Gosling and Remy off the wage bill for a start.
-
Not for free he isn't. He is also in goal scoring form. I'd rather have a 28 year old Gomis than a 23 year old Luuk de Jong. I don't mean for me like, that's what Ashley will be thinking I meant The "26 years old and under" NUFC transfer rule only really applies to players who cost a transfer fee. NUFC could sign Gomis on a 3 year deal, play him for a season and then sell him. Anything made on the transfer would be profit. That's what Ashley would think.
