The fact is Newcastle have sold season tickets off the back of Keegan being in charge. People trust Keegan to try to provide what they want. The new manager will be hated from day one because of the circumstances of how they got the job. It will have to be a continental style 'coach' manager i.e. someone who doesn't mind being told which players are coming in and who is going out. Looks like the board are going to run the club the Real Madrid way. It's a shame we don't have their success.

Whoever takes over is going to have a hell of a hard job getting the fans on his side.
