Not if they want to stay up Rough estimate, I'd say he's good enough to fight for a place at one of the promoted teams. Solid defender who doesn't make too many mistakes. He may be a horrible footballer with shocking technqiue, but he does a decent, consistent job of stopping mediocre opposition.

I'd be happy for days if we signed him for under 10 mil. Better player than a fit Viduka, who doesn't seem all that likely to be playing regular football in the Premiership ever again, so we need a replacement anyway.

In fact, at 330 million, the amount of ManU glory hunters worldwide is about 5 times the population of England. I'd guess that the large majority were, but having percentages/stats for something like this seems too optimistic for me! Gerrard has 11 goals and 11 assists, and has consistently been Liverpool's best player after Torres for basically every single game they play. Sure, he's apparently gash in international games (which I can't confirm since I rarely watch England,) but he's one of the best in the world at what he does on the club level. If you have eyes, why can't you see that? No idea why people hate him so much.

On a side note, how many times have we actually used our Away kit this season? Can't be more than three or four times. Have we used our third kit at all? I'm having difficulty being excited at the prospect of a new Away kit every year considering that the lads won't be wearing it more than a handful of times unless we're in Europe. Being in black/white stripes means that color clash is rarely an issue for us, so opportunities to see the away kit are few and far between.

But don't they vote some time around January. Chelsea weren't great earlier on and Fabregas had a good first half of the season. Makes more sense then. In that case, it's odd that they'd vote on the player/team of the season when barely half the season is done though.

Is it possible for it to get found out? Why hasn't the 4-4-2 ever been found out? "Found out" as in teams know how to deal with it. Fulham-Tottenham-Reading -> none of those teams had any idea how to cope with the formation Portsmouth-Mackems-West Ham -> all found one way or another to neutralizing the front three and exploit the weaknesses of the formation, at the very least making it an even game or in today's case, nearly walking over us completely.

What's troubling though is that we haven't been playing all that well for three games on the trot now. Has the 4-3-3 been found out? Regardless, we're still a far better team than we were pre-KK, but seeing as how we have two extremely difficult fixtures coming up I worry if we'll be able to pick up any points based on the recent preformances.
