CAT Case opened on the 22nd April with the Premier League acknowledging this on the 4th May with them requesting an extension on the 11th May to contest the case. St. James Holdings opposed this on the 11th and 13th May which lead to the initial timeline of the 11th June. The Premier League contested the CAT jurisdiction on 11th June with St. James Holdings countering this with evidence on the 28th June to which the Premier League replied to on the 30th June requesting an extension of time. It seems that St. James Holdings sent correspondence outlining it's position on the 30th June and 1st July regarding this extension the judge considered this and has allowed an extension to reply until 12th July. Arbitration has not started so anyone via Twitter who implied it has been has now been proven to be incorrect. It might also imply why the club released a statement on the 1st July given yet another delay. I'm no expert, but I do wonder if the accounts being delayed contribute to some of the commercially sensitive information currently withheld from the Premier League, although this is from 2019/20 so could just be Ashley's accounting practice. It might also indicate, as their current evidence shows, the Premier League have been granted an extension of time to prepare for the arbitration to the 9th June in that case which potentially delayed the start of the case. I haven't checked, but might be interesting to look at when Keith or Liam put information out to see if the timelines match up or if it has been guesswork.

We saw a huge amount of players released and seems like we're bringing in youth from other clubs to replace them. Is this just a case of bulking up the team with potential or squad fillers when the Pizza Cup takes place? We've had a number of other players arrive like Matthew Bondswell, Reagan Thomson, Rodrigo Vilca, Niall Brookwell and Stan Flaherty but not aware of any making the step up when we've had an injury crisis - other than Anderson.

The club most likely would need to produce evidence from during the test stage to indicate they had provided everything as requested and other shareholders had acted in a way that had impeded their ability to compete or the club suffered damages throughout this process. A quick search indicates interest in Tottenham and Chelsea throughout 2019 - has links to the LA Dodgers, speculating another US based owner mixing in the same sporting circles as some of the current EPL owners prior to Project Big Picture and the ESL coming out it would be a no-brainer investment into the Premier League if you knew in advance of this plan.

If they have serious evidence the Premier League and/or clubs have acted improper is the best course of action to go through the process rather than this just be about the takeover? I mean as much as I'd like the takeover, if the evidence is damming then surely for the best result for a majority of clubs all the information should be shared rather than looking for an agreement to be reached?

Probably wider considerations about investment in the city. If they have the football club then that value for money might be properties or investments for partners in the area leading to a greater return on that £350m initial contribution.

100% I'd guess he is fed information from a member of the playing squad as articles always lead with a view on how the squad or members of it feel about a decision i.e. a player being allowed to travel home for recovery, a bust up or argument. When Bruce said that fights happen up and down the country I'm sure they do. We've had Andy Griffin v Laurent Robert, Andy Carroll v Steven Taylor and I'm sure there will have been more over the years!

Just waiting for us to be flushed in all honesty. Across the club we've got incompetance at all levels that when we've had an employee that has wanted to push on they've found themself an outcast. Premier League football offers both financial and personal rewards so if you can get away with it and others are happy staying on the gravy train I'm sure you can get paid very well for being poor. The vast majority of people who watched that game yesterday knew it was a shocking performance and I doubt any of the players thought they had a good game after it. Bruce openly said it wasn't good enough, but the sticking point will always be no one ever challenges it. I couldn't imagine Bruce breaking down the performance with a technical or tactical analysis tomorrow and then working on the issues that have been clear to see. To a football fan it doesn't make sense, but Mike Ashley is not a football fan...this is the problem.

He is good on the ball, occasional aspects of his play which let him down today - holding onto the ball too long before a pass or pass not reaching target. However feel sorry for him based on players either not looking to receive the ball which makes him look worse. I've been impressed and he's confident running at people. How would people compare him to Longstaff/s? I noticed Villa opted to play their home grown player over a loan player so it's interesting in our predicament we need to use bigger clubs youth players to improve the team!
