Keegan has done it repeatedly, but I can't remember many other cases. Most cling on for dear life, till someone has to drag them away using a toe truck filled with money. he has not done it repeatedly for the reasons I stated man, howay

when was the last time a manager resigned 'cause he was clearly utterly shit and/or out of his depth or whatever? genuine question
  4. depends how you look at it, 4 teams taking 4-6 points each from 15 available is all that needs to happen...but of course it's unlikely I agree with you mind, there's no club in the league deserves to go down more than us, we should have been disqualified for sporting reasons anyway probably
  5. but on the other hand sunderland only need 6, Leicester and hull 5 and villa 4 points to overtake us if we don't get another point that would put us down Leicester, Hull & Villa are irrelevant if none of the bottom three catch us. no shit, but sunderland need 2 wins (or equivalent) from 5 games to catch our current points total, it's not impossible albeit it's unlikely...forget burley and qpr mind aye
  6. Unsurprisingly standing up and making noise for 60 seconds was too much hard work for our superfans. At least there was a sizable number who did but was a bit too similar to Hull. So many deserve what they get with this pathetic club A lot of fans didn't know about this and id say most who did stood up and it was fairly loud. How did they not know? Its not exactly a covert operation this ashleyout thing. Every newspaper and radio station has covered it at some point. Giving people far too much credit for their naive stupidity I was there today and had to explain what it was about. Those who knew did their best. I spoke to fans who were their against Spurs who said they were shouted down as Scabs on Sunday. We should be better than that. if you were in any way aware of the events of the spurs game and then didn't follow that up to see what ashleyout was and what else was planned from the various groups then you're either a fucking idiot or of a generation who still get their papers delivered sick of the excuses made for our fans personally, absolute fucking idiots
  7. on the money as usual. just doesn't happen in life lads, never mind in football - there are only 20 jobs managing in the PL, people will fall over themselves for the chance and eat their spoon of shit with sugar on top while they do it

said it before like but there's nothing stopping the cunt resigning from the head coaches role, it's only an interim appointment, he could go back to standing around threatening fans without losing his beer money
  9. but on the other hand sunderland only need 6, Leicester and hull 5 and villa 4 points to overtake us if we don't get another point that would put us down
  10. just seen this, hull getting a result from that cunt and putting us closer to the edge - get it
  11. if/when Leicester beat us it's going to be bad, that'll be 7 defeats in a row and manager/group of players incapable of fight we might well not get another point this season, which isn't news I guess
  12. Don't ask people to boycott Swansea, ask them to ask themselves why on earth they would choose to go in the first place.
  13. he's been here about a decade now hasn't he? amazed it's taken this long for the rot to engulf him
  14. There were obviously loads more there than these pictures show, but it looks good even if it's a bit disingenuous Hows that though? In tele it looked a lot more for some reason I agree but it's not like these photos have been doctored. Most people commenting from the ground said it was a weird feeling too. EDIT: I think that last one may be because people are leaving for the concourse, but the rest look like they were taken during during the middle of the game. The pictures on the BBC, and on Getty Images, for example, have the crowd out of focus but fairly clearly show far more people there than the pictures in this thread do Compare that top one of Kane scoring with the pictures in this thread of the Milburn where it meets the Gallowgate. Looks to me that there was a mass walkout, which is not unusual, when he put that third one in and that's when the picture was from. It's great that stuff is happening (as I say, I stopped going when they sacked Hughton) but there's spin on this from both directions tbh they're all from ground level, you're not going to get shots of empty seats from that angle my tv feed was almost always stuck on the east stand and that looked 80% or so full, maybe a touch more, but the other shots from around the ground at an angle you can see the seats speak for themselves
  15. 17th minute means nothing FFS, that's what bothers me about the whining 2 of them died, why don't we clap on the 2nd minute then the plane would have been fine J is the 10th letter of the alphabet and L the 12th so let's clap on the 22nd minute if we add them together and so fucking on
  16. the award he won was for best AM wasn't it? one of them or something
  17. Brilliant. Need to continue for as long as needed. they're the best 2 photos i've seen
  18. not enough for people kicking off about a 'lack of class' for flying the plane around the 17th minute
  19. don't fucking whisper it man

unless they actually changed the terms of his contract (doubtful), he could step down as interim head coach and not lose his money like, the fucking cunt
