  1. should probably give him a pass 'til the norwich game really, just to be fair
  2. it's a perfect storm of shitness, a player with no common sense and manager who can't make up for that with coaching and tactics hopeless for the lad under pardew now i'd say
  3. how can you want a coach who hasn't been in charge of a team for 7 years?
  4. i predict that korean kid will rip us to bits, and if bellamy plays we're probably fucked
  5. hoddle? fuck me is there no-one in the lower leagues making any waves? usually another moyes or someone floating about, or another pardew
  6. Not enough for this stat. any idea what the next worst is, out of interest?
  7. He had the european excuse last season, now he hasn't. and although it wasn't a legit excuse he did have some injuries last season which he's not had this season
  8. W4 D1 L2 problem for him is that 2 of them have been in league cup so the main thing he's judged on (league performance) still looks woeful...frankly i wouldn't have included those games in the same way i'd probably omit man city from the coming bloodbath
  9. man city - total capitulation west ham - non-performance, can't break down away team fulham - they barely showed up, struggle to break them down and score a late winner to hide the poor performance villa - gave us the run of the park and we beat them, however they arguably missed more and better chances than us in the game despite being shite and having the worst home record in the league hull - get taken apart on the counter, no answers to tactical changes made by bruce everton - change setup to suit everton, murdered, score a couple of goals when the other team has switched off to make it look better than it is this is a pattern that repeats itself - even the season we finished 5th it was the same, we were just tighter at the back and ba/cisse were belting in goals on their own....all of this was the same last season as we well know i think it's time that everyone accepted things are not going to change with pardew like
  10. gimp clarified what he meant in the next fucking post Everton took their foot off the gas, our passing was still all over the place. we got two flukey goals. Good spin tho brett. Cabaye's goal was a fluke? yep I won't be replying to you no longer. Clueless! It was a good hit, great strike but it was exactly great team work that created it.
  11. Thank you santoon. amazed that had to be explained
  12. http://th02.deviantart.net/fs71/200H/f/2010/223/4/b/HOLD_ME_BACK_BRO_by_theSailorComet.png
  13. it's a testament to his ability that he looks like one of our best players despite the absolute fuckfest we call a managerial and coaching setup if there was an actual gameplan i think he'd look even better has to stay in the team at all costs
  14. see a tactician might have realised what was going to happen in advance and done something to counter it such as play all three CB's with 2 pushing on the strikers and 1 sweeping up...we have 2 very competent sweeper type players who struggle with big strikers yet our manager thinks the best way to counter this is to keep doing the same thing time after time i'm not a fan of 3/5 at the back in the PL but there are times when it's worth considering if you don't have the personnel to cope playing 4
  15. if we beat cardiff and the mackems then i think he might hang on but seriously, less than 6 points from the next six games and i fail to see how he'll be able to keep his job he's not had any serious injuries or europa cup games, ashley won't fall for that twice imo i think he's fucked, 'cause i don't think we'll win 2 of those games
  16. holy fuck look at this run of games now after cardiff we've probably got 4 nailed on defeats and the mackems who will have a new manager i'll be somewhat surprised if pardew is the manager on 11th november the way he's going
  17. hope it's as messy as this all the way, be class to have a proper title race with +2 teams for once spurs are interesting to me, signed loads of attackers but aren't blowing teams away yet still winning, if they hit an attacking groove they might go mental
  18. i think kaka's got a point based on evidence so far; manyoo, citeh & chelski don't look like they're going to get it together anytime soon...arsenal & spurs look likely at the moment but both have previous of falling to bits as the season goes on lievrpool will probably strengthen in january...see no reason why they can't be there or thereabouts near the season end
  19. i'll be amazeballs if we manage to get anything today like
  20. don't think anyone is saying there's a direct connection between the loans and ads, more that if we're going to complain about the club not selling ad space we should also balance that viewpoint out with consideration of the free interest on 129m not unreasonably imo on a rudimentary calculation of 2% interest the club would be due payments of 2.5m quid...not sure what the actual charge would be like
  21. interesting to see how pardew approaches the derby like, regardless of their form, after the last reaming i find it hard to imagine a scenario where he won't be paralysed with fear - if they do us again given their insane start to the season then people will turn against him imo, he'll know this
  22. just had a flashback to an away game at everton when some funny cunt was sat in the stand behind the goals right next to the away fans wearing a sunderland shirt, he spent the entire match winding people up and playing up to the away fans then had the good sense to walk out of the exit that led right into the middle of our fans and got a right fucking kicking not laughing at someone getting a kicking, more the sheer stupidity of him and the look of surprise on his face when hundreds of mags didn't all think it was dead funny
