i was doing a parody there like, seems to me it'd be better for everyone if he just took what he spent and loans the club and fucked off like...250m or whatever, shake hands and move onto the next shite owner funny, i always flash back to NE5 when we think about how shit ashley was and how he kept saying we'd get a shit owner ashley has managed the finances much better than FS ever did, but he's also managed to tear the heart and soul out along the way
-
yeah, but he's a MASSIVE CUNT so it's obvious he'll not sell for a fair price 500m no less iyam
-
when he fucked off to dubai with dekka were there not rumours he was asking for 400m that time...

Benteke will score like, we'll need more than he scores basically. I predict a loss. -

perhaps unlike the man himself potential investors have done their research into mike and won't go near the fucker with a shitty stick never mind enter negotiations with him one thing's for sure, he won't be looking for a fair or reasonable price

as you've sold the rights to your shirts now i'd imagine no-one would give a fuck if you sold naming rights to a new stadium, i would have thought barca would have arab's lining up to throw money at buying the rights to a new stadium and in effect financing it?
-
so do i, IF they get on a roll fairly quickly, they look brittle to me and could either break or grow stronger...wouldn't want to be going into those games in late october not playing well and not scoring goals, we might not come out the other side
-
you're lording it over me? priceless Erm, no? I'll ignore the possible reasons for you being aghast at the thought of someone lording it over you. well, you were able to ignore plenty of stuff that was happening on the pitch last season i suppose, must come easy anyway old ground...so despite your best efforts to paint me as a doom monger i'm merely a realist, all we've done since scraping a place in the league this season is beat an awful, awful fulham team in the 86th minute through another piece of individual brilliance instead of a well crafted team goal, for example as stated the signs are there of improvement, which is why i'm saying the upcoming fixtures are critical to our season because i think the next few results might have a bearing on whether we stick with the "new" way of a playing or revert back to fearball at the first opportunity...villa is big because we've been poor for a long time away from home in particular, a win there could really boost everything sorry for the doom and gloom though

you're lording it over me? priceless

who me? not in the slightest man, see my follow-up post, as usual i have reasons for the things i think rather than the blind optimism that serves you so poorly i genuinely believe a good confident win vs. villa and we might go on and have a decent season indeed, it will make them believe they can play a certain way and get goals hope it happens

what i mean is we're at a stage as a football team where we're apparently trying to play football but we're not really very good at it yet, the outcome of the next few games could be massive for us if we go to villa, attack them and take the 3 points we could push on, but if we lose it might have the opposite effect (especially on the manager) we've seen pardew's reaction to bad defeats and how he reacts when he tries different things and it doesn't work, i'm not being melodramatic at all tbh, nor am i saying a loss to villa will seal our doom or anything of the sort
-
jesus if that's their logic we are truly fucked, other clubs will just spend the next seasons (2014/2015) TV money that they're guaranteed again so we'll be in the exact same fucking boat as them, only our boat will still be tied to the quayside 'cause we won't pay the going rate for players and they will
-
as a team we really look on a knife edge to me, could go either way at this stage...click together and go on a run or fall apart quickly and repeat last season's squeaky arse time something like a win at villa could be a catalyst for us, however a demoralising defeat could take things the other way...when was the last time we played well away from home? QPR was the last win but we were fuckin horrible that day and wouldn't have won if it weren't for bosingwa that's why i'm around the 50/50 mark, edging towards 60/40 'cause i think pardiola will lead us to our doom vs. villa through his fear injections
-
i admire your optimism Brett, but we've really not had a good start to the season in actual fact...it's been bang average at best but yes, has some signs that the football has improved a little obviously i'm one of the ultra-negative crowd but after the window fiasco this season is literally a couple of pardew brainfarts away from slipping into disaster a la 2008 again...i think villa will do us, hull looks winnable i guess but you have to fear both the everton and cardiff (!) games...we're just not that good at the moment reckon we'll be lucky to see 10 points from 21 in our "easy" start to the season and then head into a shit run of tricky games i'd say things are on a knife-edge just now, how he approaches villa will tell us a lot
-
does ashley have his family held hostage or something?
-
that's surely not fucking real
-
was fletcher not one of their best players like?
-
Imperative he keeps his place and if Cabaye returns Sissoko is not shoehorned onto the wing or up front or whatever bullshit pardew can dream up. We're starting to play football and these two are a massive part of that.
-
Still a six for me. Window didn't make things particularly worse for us, just didn't make it better. Down to Pardiola now, he's stumbled on a team that is almost functioning, last time he did that he went out of his way to not play it again. If he starts fucking with Anita - Sissoko to accommodate Tiote, Cabaye and Jonas we'll most likely repeat last season's pish.
-
Aye, when put in context of the business the clubs around us have done it's been a shocking window. We need to pray to jeebuz that injuries don't cripple us, and probably pray to all the other gods that pardew doesn't cripple us as well.

must be career i guess
