I’ve read Gallagher is on 200k a week there. I like but that’s madness. I would take Gray, Spence, and Palhinha as squad players. I still think someone could turn Kudus into a top player as well. The problem with Spurs is most of their talented players are either wankers or crocks.

Some of them still buy into the Pirlo comparisons from early in his career. He’s fuck all like Pirlo. Like most big 6 fans they don’t watch football.

Goalies can be weird like that. Kepa resurrected his career at Bournemouth then retired to the Arsenal bench in his prime years. That Mamardashvili will have known he would only be a backup at Liverpool, but there he went. Maybe being a goalkeeper just isn’t much fun.

Even with Gordon in the squad we don’t have any elite level attackers, if we want one we’ll have to buy one.

I think that was the goal Staveley sold to PIF. I don’t know when the club last reiterated it but I don’t see much sign its still the goal.

I think for a club competing for top 6 Ramsey and Miley (currently) shouldn’t be more than rotation options. I’m not really sure what the clubs ambitions are though.

I think our CB’s are a problem tbh. Thiaw and Botman are decent players individually but neither are leaders and I don’t think they’ll make a great pair. We need someone that can be the main man.

Probably not, but overpaying will negatively affect our future business. We won’t be able to get rid of him and it reduces our headroom to bring in a replacement.

I thought we should’ve backed away from Wissa in early August when it was obvious Brentford weren’t backing down on price, and there’s was no reason for them to back down on price. We definitely panicked late on with the fee.

I keep thinking about the reports last summer of Howe wanting to keep Callum Wilson. I’m also not sure how much our transfer team and policy has actually changed other than adding another body. It can be impressive, but some people talk as if he’s Berbatov technically.

Teams quickly worked out that he’s slow and weak and can easily be bullied, he’ll need to do a lot of gym work and get a more aggressive attitude if he wants to replicate that form IMO.

We’ve been poor in the league pretty much all season. Even in the CL our success is based on superior athleticism, I don’t consider us better than teams like Bilbao, just bigger and faster.
