I'd rather have a squad of 16 kids than go bankrupt. We won't go bankrupt in 6 more months of paying those wages after we've survived years of it. It'll be more than 6 months. Also surviving with a huge wage bill in the premiership is a bit different to surviving in the championship.

Is there isn't a takeover this summer why would there be one in january when our financial situation will be so much worse?

I don't think it's good news at all. I don't think a takeover is going to happen, we can't just fanny about until the end of August and then try to offload them. It's all very well saying this squad might do well in the championship, if it doesn't get promoted then we really would be fucked.

The best we can hope for now is Ashley to commit himself to the new season and hire a new manager. This takeover is not happening and if there's no change to the squad we're going to end up with a wage bill that dwarfs our revenue, then we will show everyone what "doing a Leeds" really is.

I find it hard to care what alot of these people say. We're going bankrupt and their wages have alot to do with it. It's not their fault they get paid so much, and they're not obliged to take a pay-cut or leave, but please don't pretend you give a shit about the club.

Can't remember ever hearing of people being shown around the facilities and meeting players last time he tried to sell. Can't remember hearing anyone had completed due diligence. Can't remember any solid claims of bids either. Rumours rumours and more rumours. Rumours we didn't have last time though yes? Rumours that have been coroberated by numerous sources as well. Clearly the situation is not the same as last time. All i see is a weeks speculation caused by an Asian man being spotted at the training ground. It's most probably nothing.
