The way he rushed back to recover the ball when they were attacking at some point tells you he's had a right telling off for Wednesday.

Thought it wasn't a penalty myself but we've been poor overall in this half, Tripps in particular is really off but somehow we are a goal up. -
If he is still available for selection i'd start him, give someone else a much needed rest.
-
We might see him play for us in Saudi during our usual winter trip there.
-
Legally speaking does he get paid during those 10 months?
-
Why are we so quick to write him off at this level? he just played superb game against PSG and scored the goal that sealed the win.

Schlotterbeck was fantastic for them, i think we are still learning our way in this level and its very fine margins between getting points or losing points, they took their chances and we didn't and hopefully we'll be able to bounce back. -
What a great outlet he was today, unlucky not to score.

4 first team squad players lost in a week -
Looked knackered from the start tonight, his decision making was very poor too but hopefully he'll be able to take something from this game and improve.
-
Good to have him back but it was clear that it was a bit too earlier than planned, kept thinking he's also going to drop injured but definitely a welcome return.
-
Fucking gutted for him, he was just starting to be a very good option for us and this happens, get well soon Murph.
-
I love Tripps but today he wasn't at his best, i don't understand why he insists that everything goes through him and he gets to take all the set-plays, Targett had one go and it was better than all his crosses tonight.
-
He's a very good option for us and much better than Burn with the ball, but Burn offers more in defense and set-plays, he will start against Man UTD next week.
-
In these champions league games he was the best option for our midfield, it's a real shame that we will lose him for the next 3 games and the season and i really hope he learns his lesson, he will have a lot to make up for when his back.
-
Very disappointing today, the midfield looked a bit unbalanced with him and i felt like he could've done better to track their player for the goal.

Today just wasn't meant to be, terrible injuries, mistakes all over and the ball just wouldn't go in, every time has "one of those days" and i hope the lads can pick themselves up and use this as a chance to get improve. -
Looked so calm and composed today, almost too calm to be playing premier league football and yet he bossed the midfield.

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

He had too much weight to carry in the past, from clueless managers to mediocre players with him while being the captain at a young age, i noticed today he always had Tripps next to him help him out and giving directions which helps him settle more. -
Thought he started the game sloppy but his engine always takes time to work and then he can't stop, took his goal very well.
-
They can use the banner to wipe theor tears and fuck off our city.

That was a perfect game for him to get back up to speed.
