Why would Origi move to Burnley though? he surely can play for better teams outside the league, could see him moving to the likes of Roma and Napoli.
-
The Cambridge defeat was the perfect sabotage mission for our transfer window, pretty much took all the feel good factor from the club.
-
Pretty sure everyone has been doing the same anyway.
-
Our current players are such an embarrassment, that's why we are so desperate for signings.
-
She's part fucking owner of the club so unless she decides to boot herself i think PIF are quite happy with letting her run things on their behalf, they don't want to be in the face of it as all this will bring is political questions.

Newcastle United 0 - 1 Cambridge United (08/01/2022)

Thinking about this game this morning honestly makes me feel sick, can't believe the players decided this is the best they can do at home in front of the new owners and a full stadium, i fail to think of one player who actually did well yesterday other than maybe Trippier but you can tell he was shocked and the level of his team mates. -
How poor was he yesterday? He looked like he would struggle to get in their side let alone ours.
-
Absolute garbage from him and the team today, i know our players are shit but he really embarrassed both himself and the club with that performance and his next steps are really important to determine what sort of person he is and how he can dig himself and the team out of this. a few of our more senior players should not even considered going forward, maybe its time to give the likes of Anderson more chances at least they might have some hunger in them.
-
Complete opposite of the player he was last year when he was running from the half way line and scoring, this lad look scared and didn't know what to do when he had the ball today.
-
Our owners are serious people and they will find a way to make this work, but it's shambolic what these so called professional footballers are doing at the moment, you would think seeing where the ownership is trying to take the club they would give everything but instead they are still playing their pretend football and hoping they can get away with doing the bare minimum, i hope in a year or two that all of those involved today bar one or two are no longer with us.
-
This game is a slap of reality to everyone involved, it shows how far we slipped as a team and it will take a monster effort to rebuild from here.
-
Rene Higuita finished his club career with a higher game/goal ratio than he has with us.

He was bad today but honestly we are even worse without him, we need him as "one" of our players and not our "one" player. its almost like everything depends on what sort of game he will have. -
He has been awful from day one, bar a few moments the fact that he "works hard and runs a lot " has allowed him to escape strong criticism, absolute shocking footballer.

I was thinking that its not defenders that we needs is also players upfront, but to be honest we need a full new team. -

Some of our players look like they fit very well, in the Cambridge City side.. -
I sometimes sit and think if he actually enjoyed tormenting fans, his last signing for us was Santiago Munoz just because he sounded similar to the guy from the movie.
-
Cantwell isn't really someone that would improve us much, we can focus on more top quality targets.
-
Several links mentioning Rafa and Everton want him, even though he hasn't been at his best lately i would still think we should keep him.
-
He's one of the most valuable players in the world and i don't think they will let him go for any price for anybody right now, i was excited about the more realistic option of Idrissa Gueye from PSG as he's a good holding midfield and can add some much needed defensive strength to our team.

Arsenal have been so good since they binned Aubamyang, the younger players play with some much energy and skill.

Southampton P-P Newcastle United (02/01/2022)

We should aim to get this one postponed as well, ideally just play Cambridge and rest until mid Jan, will have some players back from injury and hopefully one or two signings. -
Don't think they will be interested in buying two football clubs when the investment in our club has hardly started.
