Gestede is a monster in the air in fairness. Tough for Mitro to have the same aerial impact.

Currently he isn't suited for CM at all, simply isn't the kind of player to dictate play or dominate that area. In terms of his movement though, he's the best we've had from midfield since Kevin Nolan at timing his runs and finding space in the box. To do that he needs to operate from a 3 man midfield where he's free of defensive responsibility or from the wing. The problem is Dummett is obviously shite.

Grad A tosh. The team McClaren picked (and subs he made) created enough chances to win this game. It isn't his fault they didn't score. There's plenty to have a go at McClaren about during his time here but today's result is not one of them.

I don't think Colback adds to any balance of our team. He's a warm body who gets a yellow card. Moving Wini inside would definitely upset the balance of the team like. Though saying that if there's a game to try it then it's against Villa.
