So you got us relegated on FM? Cunt.

One question for you. Would you prefer Newcastle United to be in a) the Premiership or b) the Championship? One question for you. Would you say banana's are a) too yellow or b) not yellow enough? Depends on the banana.

I'd laugh, but I have this awful feeling if he can't find a club, he'll come crawling back to us and we'll be stupid enough to give him another contract. The beauty of this is that we're broke so there's literally no way of offering him any kind of contract that he'd accept. But on the other hand, we're broke.

I wouldn't replace Bosingwa with Johnson.

They have a unique TV deal that sees only them gain profits from each TV viewing. I think last seasons was roughly 150 million or something stupid. They can basically afford anyone they want just on the back of this. Not to mention stuff like champions league money, merchandise sales and the brand name in itself.. they pretty much have the whole of South America on their side.

As usual West Ham have a hand in shitting all over everything.

I was saying Boo-eckham.

Or what? We're nothing but horrified onlookers with each and every mess this club falls into. This'll be no different. No doubt Luque and Xisco will be high-fiving on the same team this time next year or something.

It would be spiteful...

I'd like to think that he'll do well in the under-21s and prove pivotal in getting us promoted next season. However..

Yeah, what's everyones problem? Probably the self-destruction of a major fixture of our lives.

Lets write a letter and do a sing-song about how we want our perfect chairman to be. Then Mike Ashley can rip it up and throw it in the fire.. hopefully the news will get to Mary Poppins and we'll be saved. This place has gone mental with news in the last 12 hours.

I met you in Paris in June of last year, you said I was the only toon fan you'd seen about. Where in Paris did I bump into you? Ey? Ey?

The majority of football fans tend to be idiots.. it certainly isn't exclusive to Newcastle fans like the stereotype suggests. When Everton were linked with Smith people their fans were saying on message boards that they could get the best out of him and that his Newcastle form was a bit of a 'blip'. Some said similar when we signed him. Malouda was brilliant before he went to Chelsea and after his first season he was worse than James Milner. People were saying that Torres would be too flimsy and weak for the Premiership too.. end of the day we're nothing more than a bunch of armchair pundits.
-
I was thinking that when I saw Lampard on the ball, just before he took the shot. Malouda nearly scores, Pienaar injured.

I don't know if he's being wasted as such, but I fail to see how anyone can say that Fergie hasn't changed his game dramatically. He was much more sporadic, unpredictable and exciting earlier in his career and whilst at Man Utd he's been calmed down somewhat, but his teamwork and work ethic has increased a hell of alot. It's all opinion on which player you'd want in your team but I'd opt for the Euro 2004 Rooney easily.

I accepted relegation reasonably quickly and with many of my friends being die hard forest or wednesday fans I'm really looking forward to some of the away days. Gaining promotion is crucial for the clubs long term future, but playing in the 2nd tier won't put me off this wonderful club one jot.

It's obviously going to focus on us more though isn't it, what with 16 consecutive premier league seasons, with numerous cup runs, Champions League & UEFA appearances..

Despite everything I don't have a massive disliking towards Owen like I do some players who have played here. I still reckon that he'd score the goals in a stable team that creates plenty of chances, which is a million miles from where we've been for a long time. On the other hand I can't wait to get him off the wage bill, it was an ill advised signing in hindsight, although I envisaged great things when he first signed.

Had my first final-day dream last night. We drew 1-1 with Villa and Hull drew 0-0 with Man Utd. I woke up before I checked the Mackems score.

Its that stupid rule where the table gets frozen after so many games in the season.
