Every good story needs a villain to hate, he's the ultimate hate figure. It's like removing Cersei from Game of Thrones, you just can't do it.

Island heed doing his best to fuck us over even after leaving

That would be interesting to find out Went through attendances on my dinner the other day, we were the biggest contributer with about 6 highest attendances, Leeds contributed to a few as did Norwich and one or two others. It wasn't as much a landslide as I thought it'd be, I'll put the numbers up tomorrow if anyone is actually interested?

Yeah, but I wonder what Crumpy REALLY thinks about us going up.

Division 3 surely? North. Am I missing something with the Fleetwood thing? Sunderland and others laughed that we played against Burton who were a few years ago a non-league team. Fleetwood a few years ago were a non-league team like Burton and are in a promotion place in League 1, meaning as things stand Sunderland would play Fleetwood next season. Right, got ya Fleetwood's rise has been one to behold, except for last year when they nearly got relegated but survived because Blackpool (local rivals) were just that little bit shitter. Again, I hope this happens, not just because it's karma but because I have a vested interest in Fleetwood beating them.

High 3, maybe a low 4 -
If Huddersfield beat us on saturday they will have done the double over us. Does that mean they can argue they are the best team in the Championship? That's what Blackburn will say as they tumble into League 1, tbh. At what point did I say that it was because we beat BHA that made us the best team in the league? I'm just glad that the players and the manager aren't as negative as some folk on here or we'd be 5 points behind BHA after the last 2 games alone.

Thankfully I had to watch the game on my phone app so I wasn't able to get on here. It was worrying after that first half, felt like it was going to be one of those nights where we get all the ball and all the chances but lose because of a shite ref call. Was one of the best games I've watched in forever, went against everything, coming from behind, BHA losing after going ahead, us winning after being a goal down at half time. I'm just glad I didn't follow it on here because, though I can understand the fear, the negativity has been something else and the giving up after 15 minutes because we're a goal down is pathetic. Give your heads a shake and be glad Rafa and the rest of the team don't have your mental fortitude. I read back through it to see how the roller coaster panned out on here, wish I hadn't bothered. Can we all have a bit of belief now, BHA are the second best team in the division, they've proven how good they are over almost an entire season and last night we beat them quite comfortably in the end. We are the best team in the division, with the best manager and the best players. How about a but of belief now.

The only thing that surprises me about that post is that someone actually listens to his podcast.

For a number of reasons I hope we smash this little shitty club into the ground on Monday, we need the win now and hopefully Gayle will be too much for them.

He got sacked by Southampton in League 1. He'll be shite in Scotland too, guaranteed.
-
If that's their plan then good luck with that because if they cause Rafa to walk then no "high profile manager" worth his salt will touch us with the shitty end of a stick.
-
For me it's not about minimum backing, it's about whatever cash being available being Rafa's to spend not for Carr to spunk in the French league on possible monetary assets.

I'll reserve judgement until the end of the season (summer is the real test!) However it doesn't look promising. I realise that Ashley saw this as a great opportunity to get us promoted, as he saw it, easily, with a world class manager at the helm, with more money coming in than going out. However, why allow him a water tight contract and to buy who he wants, who might not be easy to shift, nor at a profit, if your planning on screwing him over when you get back to the Premier League gravy train? Surely if Ashley "does it his way" he's going against the terms and conditions of Rafa's contract of employment and leaving himself open to another law suit for constructive dismissal? I haven't got a clue what's going to happen, the only thing I know for sure is that if Rafa is screwed then that's it for me, I cannot and will not put another ounce of money, effort or emotion into the club, not until that fat cunt has gone, there would be nothing left to support. Rafa symbolises that last ray of hope, the faintest heart beat left in a dying club and once he's gone the football goes with him, it just becomes an empty shell, an extention to a soulless, morally bankrupt, corrupt corporation.

One of the worst things to happen to us getting a combined total of £55m for Sissoko and Wijnaldum, validates the failing system that they put in place. Always about the money, never about the football.

Well he's definitely not a striker so it's worth a shot.
